In this game right now there is nothing new. You will get bored in 1 week thrust me. Let’ s wait the expansion to start actually playing it again. Moreover If with the new expansion they don’ t bring balance(ranger status is kitten) i will simply not play it.

maybe you will be right, i’ll judge it myself in the next days

i dont have a guild nor friends playing right now,
assume that i’ll begin -again- alone, with close to none knowledge about “what’s new” beside what u are telling me here xD

(i do have technical knowledge tho, like skill trees, traits, etc.. those are kinda ok)

And what about classes? I used to main Ele, is he still on top of the food chain? xD

I think i’ll start slow with a lot of PvE and come back to PvP only later.

So PvE wise is Ele still good (any “clearly better” builds for it?) ?
Or i better lvl up some other class… i should have also Guadian, Warrior and Thief

I understand those are “long/hard questions” to answers so… if you could point me out some links for PvE builds etc it will be ok

From what i understand now also exist some kind of tomes/scrolls to fast lvl up… any info about those? (meanwhile i start browsing)

As title says… it’s around 1 year (probably more) that i dont play GW2…
bought a new PC in the meanwhile (for other reasons) and saw the expansion’s announcement….
and so i thought to give it another try (mainly because of my love for GW1)

So i’ll go straight to the point:

Can you name me which are the 3 top classes in the current meta and, beside WvW,
what are the main things ppl play/do these days? (idk maybe specific dungeon runs etc…)

Once i get these infos i’ll browse the forums to get some more specific answers but first i’d need these general ones.

PS: feel free to post any other extra infos that you think are important and that i should know.
