I think the hammer nerf was rather harsh, when I play against other warriors I almost never get hit by them because they are very obvious animations. They do need to nerf zerkerstance to like 5-6 seconds from 8 and maybe very slightly reduce the healing on the signet.
Dunno why everyone kittenes about Healing Signet, yea maybe it should be reduced a little bit but you make it seem to be invincible. If its so good how come I get absolutely murdered by conditions if I dont have berserker stance up?
For all you people saying Time Warp is fine because you can just run out of it just proved the point that it is OP. Casting it in a teamfight guarantees that you will either cap the point due to all the enemies being dead, or the fact that they all have to run out of the field to survive enabling you to cap.
They need to fix Khylo, the whole map is revolved around the treb and mesmers have a disgusting advantage due to their portal skill, making it nearly impossible to beat unless you have a mesmer yourself or commit 2 people to the treb every time he repairs it which ultimately loses you the game.
If you’re not weapon swapping you’re doing it wrong, since you’re basically throwing away 5 skills. Feel free to handicap yourself, you won’t get very far.
How are engis the lowest tier? They have the most stuns/knockdowns in the game.
Any news on when ANet is actually going to start balancing pvp? Getting pretty tired of having a game with competitive pvp but no balance.
Apparently if you place a portal directly on the treb, grab the repair kit, activate portal, use the portal and repair the treb and then use the treb you can use the portal back and still use the treb.
This is extremely cheesy and I am surprised Paradigm would be using this “method” of using the treb. The issues surrounding mesmers and the treb need to be addressed in some manner.
Their team was 2 eles, war, ranger, engi. Also the glitched the treb at the start of the game, before we killed it.
No this is definitely a glitch. We encountered it when facing a guild team and the treb was still shooting but the person using it was invisible. Even hitting the treb did not pull them off it like it should do, I reported the bug in game.
It’s definitely a glitch, but no class on the other team could go invisible so I’m not sure how they did it. Also before the match started they floated into our base and stuff, blatantly hacking. Had an occasion where me and my ally killed a solo ranger with no other allies or enemies in the area, he immediately stands up at full hp after being downed.
If “no one” is on it, then just kill it or knock it really low. It’s very possible they saw you coming and left on the other side that you couldn’t see to go get the repair kit expecting you to kill it.
Uhh we did kill it, but he could still shoot the treb at CT which was being contested and won them that fight.
Just played a tournament against a guild called Paradigm Shift and they somehow managed to glitch the treb enabling them to use and fire it with no one physically being there. No clue how to recreate this but it was pretty frustrating having to lose against cheaters.
Currently there is absolutely no incentive at all for defending points in sPvp. I would rather lose and get 300 points than win and get 75. This promotes “zerging” and a general lack of team play. I understand that its sPvp, but still, I will never defend a point over getting chieften, a kill, or a cap.
All I have to say is this, I’m a Warrior and have little to no problems soloing thieves. They’re very squishy, and any CC on a thief, usually ends with them dying. The classes in GW2 are honestly pretty balanced for game launch. Just learn how to counter them, and GG.
Now impress me by playing an elementalist and still saying the same thing.
As someone with 100 Tournament wins on an Elementalist, I’m going to go ahead and say the same thing. The standard HS spam spec dies instantly to pressure, the Thief can either run (their strong point), or die. Initiative isn’t returned if you miss the ability, and the usual gambit of the HS spam Thief is to pop Haste and spam HS x3 (or 4 if they are specc’d properly).
If you have less than 2.5k Armor and stand still for it all, it will do a fair bit of damage; but of course, a single teleport/endurance bar/CC/etc will pretty much open them up for an easy counterkill. When Thieves use haste, they lose all endurance and its regeneration – so if they mess up their window of opportunity, they can die very easily.
People need to learn to use their dodges when needed, not just whenever. There are layers and layers of uses for each mechanic in the game, and blindly pressing your buttons will get you killed.
Having said that, I also have 70 Tournament wins on my Thief, and Heartseeker could stand to have its initiative cost increased by 1.
There already exists a condition spec that has an amazing ability to single-handed-ly defeat a group of 3 or less mediocre players with ease. The ability to evade almost nearly any attack and continuously apply cripple to an opponent is by far the most aggravating thing for any class to go up against. This is called the Death Blossom Build.
It’s actually called the FLYING UNICORN BACON BABY build, please address it as such.
I actually spam heart seeker 14 times in a row, why the kitten would I make a heart seeker spam build that can only spam 4 times?
