I also try to find build/stat set that will suit my playstyle. For now, it seems that I am only at the beginning of the road. I want to make tough roaming engineer with good healing and survival ability, able to kill foes in 1v1.
I like to use kits, so I want to have at least 2 kits in my repository (usually bomb and tool kits). Grenades seems boring to me, as well as rifle and utility bar full of elixires.
So I join and ask if there is good stat priority for such theme? I crave no crits, but sustainable damage with survival potential.
And so far, I meet 2 types of enemies on WvW – first type kills with 2-3 swings, or with 5-6 if I manage to react with gear shield, blind and distance disrupting. Another type are those, who quickly outheal my damage and then start to bring me to 10% HP. At this 10% HP fight can continue for a minute or more, I use healing skills many times and try to damage my opponent, but it is worthless – he is always full HP.
Any similar situations and, maybe, solutions what you had already found?
