And most of those would probably still have happened no matter how many weeks they spent on QA, since they could very well be stuff that turned up when the build was added to live as opposed to the testing servers.

Several of those aren’t really bugs either I would say. And very few of them is actually effecting the game in any real way.

I don’t think they would purposefully release a patch with such blatantly obvious bugs. And it’s not like they can make it perfect. There’s so many moving parts that stuff is bound to go wrong when releasing a patch especially major ones like the camera change.

Don’t listen to the guy above me. Play it if you really want. Play hot-join until you get a hold of the class enough to try tPvP.

There are various builds you can use but the most popular for DPS are meditation builds. Here’s an example:

You could switch out Stand Your Ground for Contemplation of Purity if you want more condition removal. It kind of varies at this point.

As for bunkers, you won’t have as much tankiness as warriors or engineers but you provide good supporting boons and control. This is one of the standard bunker builds:

You can switch out weapons and try different things but the traits, runes, and amulets are generally the same. But yea, google is your friend.

Not necessarily. Prices have been rising for everything since the game launched as more and more money is tossed into the market. People who have consistently been playing have loads of money (excluding people who play the TP, get lucky with drops and whatnot). But people who come back every now and then, like me, find it exhausting to get anywhere near the gold needed for ascended items/legendaries/named exotics.

It’s got a pretty absurd drop rate. 200%+ MF and no drops in 3-4 hours? Not even 1 single box? And then the most important thing in the box is the weapon ticket which has an even smaller drop rate. ~_______~

Yes I would. You get more than $60 worth of fun compared to other games. Plus, you can always come back to it so why not?

Besides, GW2 is the best MMORPG out right now IMHO. Everything else just bores me to death.

As crass as the above post is, this is exactly whats happening. Anet, you’re abandoning your core audience who trusted you for immature, “leet speak” degenerates.

If the social and moral implications of this change in audience does nothing to dissuade them, then I have to question the financial implications of this audience change. I’d imagine the more mature, casual audience has more cash to spend in the cash shop than “stay at homes” who play 12 hours a day and make enough gold to never have to spend cash on gems.

That’s wildly full of BS. I play relatively casually (only 250 hours since launch) and I honestly welcome this. You are making some extreme misjudgements. I can understand people hating on having to have Infusions to do higher levels of the new dungeon (which I personally don’t mind), but hating on higher tiered gear? Doesn’t make any sense. I’m willing to bet Anet wanted to put this in at launch but didn’t have time.

It’s not even out yet. We don’t know everything about them. God I can really hate the MMO community sometimes. But yes, I am excited for it.
