I did run a condi bunker over the BWE1 and I had no issues 1v1 or 1v2 but my defensive were active blinds on shatter evades and leaps with a Carrion amulet and scavenger rune. so I could create damage and hold the point while giving some support. but I will admit I was not supporting the group as much as your build. Though I don’t feel its truly necessary to go that far into support IMO.
honestly I think idefender would need to taunt players before it will truely be a needed phantasm.
I cannot wait for this weekend. I will definitely be in sPVP. Want to try a variety of different interupt builds and condi builds with it to see what stands out. Also I am a little worried the the continuum shift will create power builds to be little to no risk as you can go all for a full burst then quickly revert back. But we shall see very interested in a Dom/Chaos/Chrono build but think Dom/Dueling/Chrono will still be the better option.
For me Reapers seem like a very strong choice as reapers seem to go well with chronomancers synergy. In that type of fight you want 2 things control and damage if the reaper can fight in you wells it will only make the reaper stronger and faster and your foes weaker and slower in so many ways.

Personally speaking it would depend highly on Alacrity gained. It might actually be a better team fighter OH. Giving yourself and your team less CD and even in Stronghold might effect the NPCs as well. Another thing to think of is the 5 skill is also a Quickness giver, I believe. So throwing that on your allies and yourself would be a big help. I would not judge so quickly when the combos might create more overall possibilities not just for yourself but the people you fight with.
I actually have full condi damage, using Rabid and Carrion both main stat condi. But I also have power as said in the video it is lower but goes over 2000 with full stacks. The clone are used quite a bit as your shatters are extremely important to add the conditions and Also the phantasms do another 4K with their first attack.
You are right Ansau but thats what I get for collect all mine in one day I guess. Still I will say against an ele with condi cleanse it still beats out as you are able to apply every in burst or much slower if you choose. Also that’s the reason for power if condi isn’t working the normal damage will.
Mak – I did try something like your build with a PU aspect but I found that though the invis was nice and released any and all pressure from you it did the same thing your opponent. So if I fought a theif they go invis when I did and when they do all condis would just release per thier traits. That is actually the reason I don’t stealth I want them to attack me with the confusion and the torment.
Messiah – If you look at the build I created it is definitely meant for a PVE, PVP standpoint as you will get around 50 – 60 percent crit chance. its not extremely high but in WvW it is optimal IMO. You will hit your opponent often enough tat results are quite nice. Also I have no issue with theifs as they need to backstab for any results and all you need to do it drop AOEs at you feet. Your shatters are base line on you at all times so if you shatter just before they hit you they are blinded and wracked with confusion. Only class I have fought that was an issue is a high condi engi.
I have played with a lot of builds for the mesmer and try to working out a different way to play the mesmer. Always trying to keep the class fresh and new. I have created something of a WvW power/condition build where you do Good direct damage and Good condition damage while still have a decent amount of survivability. the basic idea is that your phantasms do strong power damage and your shatters will do some power damage but also add a lot of conditions often and in sizable amounts to your opponent. It seems to work well for roaming and I have used it in a few zerg fights with very good results.

I have been saying this for a while not sure if it has been brought up before in this forum. But I think Mesmers should have a more reliable blast finisher. And to behonest in the Play style of the greatsword
being very offensive weapon.
The Number 3 ability Mind Stab seems to
go well in it being a blast for mesmers.
Since Mind stab is a ground target able AOE I figure there are 2 ways for it to work which I think
can make how it works for mesmers more interesting.
Option 1: The blast acts as a AOE to where the stab pop out of the ground. Giving it a 300-600 range at most for those in the field. This would create it to be a support blast in water fields or help
others with might stacking and such with a limit to 5 people. If the mesmer is in the range they would get the benefit as well
Obivously.
Option 2: The blast occurs off the mesmer with same range 300-600 this allows more of a different use in skills as the mesmer can blast to those around them creating a different dynamic as a water
field can go down but not everyone needs to rush to the spot for a heal but can get the benefit from the blast around the mesmer.
Note: any blast would not apply to phantasm or clones only original mesmer.
Please add anythign to this to make it more balanced but I do believe it would add to the mesmer playstyle well in a few ways.

I have a video of a glitched dredge suit from a while back I was wonder if the minstrel could get this in place of its current effect. with a slight change in length to make it a bit more pronouced.

I would like to say I do like the Fact that this patch did have bit of an update for the Minstrel. As a Mesmer I think The focus is the best weapon and that’s why I chose the minstrel as my first legendary but can it have a little more effect. I notice the effect buff continually given to the Dreamer and but no love for the minstrel possibly the most unwanted legendary in the game. The notes are a little more visible now but at the same time still a bit hard to see.
I get that the Focus is an off hand weapon and would not get
not get musical note step effects. So I was thinking could a decent sized bunch of notes burst off the character when they would jumped or dodged (this could occur on the landing or on the start of the action). It would make for a good effect but at the same time not over write any mainhand effects.
Another thing to think about is other off hand weapons can have the same type of effect like the legendary torch torch could have a small visual only flame burst.
