This is annoying now because #1 key feels a lot more fragile to use or I risk canceling out the best skill.
It seems to me this is unintended bug since I’m not aware of any other skill on any class / weapon which can be interrupted by pressing that same key. I’ve not tried all skills but I haven’t encountered another such example like Warrior Axe #1.
Perhaps the developer made some general tweak to the way channeling skill gets interrupted on 10/22/2012 patch, but did not take into consideration that #1 skill, which is often special in that it generally has no cooldown, can also be a channeling skill.
If this doesn’t get looked at quickly as 10/22/2012 patch regression, I’m afraid it will never get fixed seeing the pace at class related bugs are getting looked at.
This problem did not exist before 10/22/2012 patch. The Warrior’s Axe #1 skill has 3 phases. And on the final Triple Chop phase, if #1 skill is pressed during its execution, Triple Chop gets interrupted/cancelled and gets replaced by Chop skill. Why would anyone ever want to interrupt the best DPS skill phase (Triple Chop) with the worst DPS skill phase (Chop)?
This was not the case before 10/22/2012 patch and there’s nothing regarding this on the update notes, so it appears to be a bug. If it’s not a bug, what is the purpose/intent of this change?
