Okay, first of all I would like it if people making these kinds of “requests” would stop using that term.
Of course it is “legal” for them to be AFK farming, because if it were in fact illegal for them to do so then that would mean that there is a real penalty consisting of a fine and/or imprisonment by their local or federal law enforcement agency. Are you implying that you think these people should be arrested and face a fine or jail time? Are you saying that they do in whatever government jurisdiction you reside in?
Seriously, please stop using it as a way to describe action within the environment of a video game that you feel is a violation of the acceptable way of playing said game.
Fun Fact: The license to use the game’s software is contingent on your following the Acceptable Use Policy, in other words ‘the rules’. If you play the game in violation of the rules you violate the game’s license. If you play the game in violation of the license you are breaking copyright law. That means it is, in fact, illegal to break the rules in the game.
Keep your Dragon Bash, I want the Adventure Box to return!
Please don’t ruin core Tyria with gliding… it will ruin JPs make things that used to be challenging easy… and I just plain don’t like gliding… it is a horribly overused mechanic in the new maps… doing jumping puzzles in the new maps are painful since you start gliding when you don’t want to. Gliding makes me not want to visit the HoT maps, if you ruin core Tyria with it where will I go?
Please I beg you… don’t add gliding to core Tyria.
If it is a mastery track, you can always not get it.
You fail to understand. People like this aren’t happy if they can stay away from the content. They want no one to have it. Because otherwise it ruins THEIR game.
Not just grenades, but EVERY skill that would be ground targetable, that is usable underwater, becomes an auto-target ‘homing’ skill.
Why?
Because you cannot ground-target underwater!
Since grenade-1 is made into auto-target underwater due to that fact, they probably figured giving it auto attack was not too far a stretch.
Now, center-screen targeting and auto-repeat as the command is held? -That- would work nicely.
Or someone popping Elixir C. Imagine the hilarity if RNGesus deemed fit to convert 11 stacks of burning into 11 stacks of retaliation.
Tiny problem with that: Grenades are a time-on-target attack. In other words, without leading a moving target, the grenade will simply land at the spot where the target was when the given auto-attack pulse triggered.
So without fundamentally altering one of the mechanics that I assume is a balancing concern for grenades, I dont see this working.
