Guild Wars 2

I would much prefer having certain skills on certain keys, I like that they have tied the skills to weapons, but it would be good if I could move the three main hand, or two off hand to a more comfortable place. It’s weird and frustrating but hang in there.

So you think showing a picture with the email addresses on it is a good way to cut out this sort of thing? Or are you just advertising the site? there is a report button on in game mail, use it like most people do.

Yes the instances are very tough, is this better than being able to rush through it in 5 mins over and over again? probably for some people. Seems that other games have gotten people lazy and frightened of a death or two.

The main problems I can see is already been stated, we have no quick way of changing builds for instances, they obviously require a different set up and having to run to the trainer for a respect everytime you want to do an instance or go back to leveling isn’t ideal.

What would people think of a system like pvp?
we get a lobby to go into with portals to all the instances, from this lobby we can set up our toons for whatever level we are for whatever instance, this, like pvp would be a seperate skill set, we can also meet up with players and parties in this lobby making group finding easier.

The other thing is waypoints, think there should be one or two more, it gets annoying having to run back from the start constantly.

Have you considered guardian?

My usual choice as a first toon on any game is a warrior, for me it’s usually the easiest class to learn and explore the game with and gw 2 was no exception, had I understood the guardian better I probably would’ve chosen it though.

My first thought on guardian was “Tank, can survive against lots of mobs but needs to because they struggle to kill one” this was sheerly my own ignorance.

Survivability: Well heavy armour for a start, plus there are healing and buff skills that usually also damage enemies. Sword and shield for a more aggressive fight, mace and shield for defensive fighting

Damage: two handed weapons that so far has compared to my warriors attack (guardian is still low level so not sure how that gets affected higher up)

Versatility: Fed up swinging the sword? pop a sceptre and torch/staff on and your an armoured spellcaster.

I’ve been having fun with the guardian and I didn’t think I would, might be worth having a look, but above all, pick the one you have the most fun with

You wouldn’t be surprised that it runs on my tower since it’s a very good rig, but may be surprised that it runs on the lap top I am using just now.

Yes that cpu runs the game without being over clocked, I couldn’t believe it, game runs on low settings on this lappy at an average of 30-40 fps gets a bit hot but that can be countered, I was thinking about over clocking or upgrading the cpu if possible to run the game but it does so fine, I installed the game to test it out and totally expected the tell tale signs from start video’s and character select screen (ui lag etc) that it wouldn’t run properly or the game just flat out refusing to load because of system specs but nope, runs fine.

6gb ram and 2gb graphics help but by rights the game should laugh at that cpu and tell me not to be silly

Last Legion Company [LCC] Vabbi server, yet again missing influence , the last influence showing is from one member logging in 17 hours ago for 10 influence that was me logging onto an alt to craft something, the reality is that two members who are representing gained several levels finishing several events in multiple zones and completing story quests and played on more than one of their toons again gaining levels/events etc, This is happening far too often now, its like every three days and is totally wasting players time. I’ve been trying to build a guild bank for ages now and we are not receiving the rewards that we have earned. even when it is showing influence earned it’s not showing the correct data most times and again we are losing out. please fix this and give us the rewards that our time spent should give.

Hello, Just a post to say that our new little guild is seeking to recruit like minded members for fun with the game, the founding members are from central Scotland but anyone of any nationality, race or creed is welcome.

If your like me then you probably have had bad experiences of guilds before, wether it be guild leaders inviting anyone simply so they can get things done and the guild being full of people you don’t get along with, leading to little cliques, it may have been a select group of players in the guild getting preferential treatment, perhaps your fed up being treated like an npc with regards to where and when you must play? I was in a guild that had people who didn’t even realise the that three people in their pvp match were from the same guild, there’s all manner of reasons why people don’t want to join guilds.

My friends and I ran into some of these things in most other games and since then, run our own guild, We have a guild in gw 1 also, we explore all aspects of the game not just focus on one , the only rules we have are the ones which are in the game to begin with and to treat people fairly, we won’t ask anyone to do anything they don’t want to and won’t think less of them if they choose not to.

It doesn’t matter if you play 24/7 or one hour a week, doesn’t matter if all your time is spent in pvp or sitting inside an inn role playing , maybe you like solo questing but like to have a bit banter in guild chat while you do, like to have people who are more than willing to share advice and tips? advice or fed up having to wait ages to find someone to help you through a difficult quest, We don’t care what your weapon colour is, how tough your armour is or how long you’ve played mmos, we aim to help with anything, provided we have the time.

So if your looking for a mature guild with good people to pass the time with in game and have fun, maybe we’re the guild for you. I logged in today today and had absolutely nothing in my funds, there wasn’t much there to be honest but i did have silvers, seems this is another bug with something, they seem to be pretty on it when it comes to sorting stuff though. for the amount your talking I would try to have it replaced, nothing worse than having your time wasted by a game bug.

Edit: just thought I would add there’s been no one else on the account and nothing else is missing, hadn’t even moved from where I logged out.

I’ve just had to report in game mail gold sellers, hopefully ive done it right and don’t get banned for improper use, surely the total lack of a report function directly on the mail itself is an over sight?
