Guild Wars 2

Hey all, sorry for the lapse. I had some work stuff hinder my ability to think about games for a week or so there, but I am back! I’ll message both of you today. In the mean time, still looking! I am full blown CST (midwest US) and will be on between 6 and midnight daily, as long as there is something to do! I occasionally have work that will take my evening, but that should be less and less after the recent app launch my company did.

Played pretty frequently, got mega hyped for HoT, and was somewhat disappointed with launch. With the April patch, I’ve come back to try things out again and having a ton of fun! The guild I was with has all but completely abandoned the game. So, I’m looking for a group to re-learn fractals/dungeons and hopefully get into doing some raiding! Have an Ele with ~1k hrs on it, but five other level 80s that share ~250hrs of playtime. Smaller/medium sized guilds would be awesome, as I’m hoping to get to know people instead of trying to integrate with massive guilds.

Heyo!

Been around for a while; shy and pretty casual. Have done a lot of solo content and the occasional dungeon. Gonna get all my clovers shortly and will be a precursor and my dungeon tokens away from my first legendary. I just don’t know how to run many dungeons and my only experience with dungeons are with speed groups. I know my ele pretty well, have full exotic zerker and celestial gear, ascended weapons, and nearing 4.5k AP. Been playing the game off-and-on for a while.

I can get active but need some pushing and invites to stay active in a guild. I latched on to one for a while but they died down. If you want to take someone under your wing to learn the dungeon mechs, then I’ll happily come along.

I also have an 80 thief, mesmer, necro, and guardian. All fully geared in zerker exotics and ascended trinkets.

I played a lot of lower level fractals during the fractured meta event and know the basic mechs to those pretty well. I have led new groups through before.

I’m not really looking to speed run, but if I find a group willing to teach me with the expectation that I know 0% of the dungeon, I am willing to speed run after learning. Arah, unfortunately, is the dungeon I need for me tokens, but until I get my precursor, I haven’t fully decided on my legendary.

Also, I am a professional web developer and willing to help out with guild sites. I work Mon-Fri 9am-6pm CST and play at least 3 hours a day whether it be meta or wvw.

I’m a pretty casual, somewhat shy, player on Jade Quarry. I’ve played since pre-launch, took a break riiiiight before Fractals were originally released, and returned a couple months ago. I’ve spent 99% of my play-time solo, and would like to get into the dungeon/fractal content, and perhaps some PvP. I have run dungeons before, got the fractal meta achievement, so I have some experience.

I have fully geared Level 80 Elementalist (Ascended Dagger), Level 80 Thief (Almost have an Ascended weapon), Level 80 Necromancer, and Level 80 Mesmer. Elementalist was my main, but I’m focusing on thief because Ele isn’t fitting my play style.

I am looking for the following in a Guild:
- Laid back
- Talkative via chat
- Willing to teach someone dungeon mechanics

I am NOT looking for the following in a Guild:
- Hardcore speed running, exploit-using guilds. I just left one, and I’d get constantly hated on for making Arah last 5 minutes longer.

My biggest question is regarding your excuses that patches effect every player in the game; and the smallest patch can negatively effect them. I just had a 8MB+ patch that kicked people.

If you can see, the only update was fixing Candy Corns. Really? You have the issue fixed. You’ve been saying it’s been fixed for nearly a month now, and you’ve had dozens of patches since you’ve said it’s been fixed for you to push it. I’ve rolled another character to enjoy the story line. I had to go from 35-80 off crafting and dungeons and I missed your #1 aspect you attempted to sell: the story. So, I’ll join the growing number of people who are relatively upset.

Compensation needs to be received for this injustice. The best form of compensation would be to push a glaring bug immediately after you have QA’d the fix. Now, compensation needs to be something else.

Just adding to the list of people who are stuck. Can’t do any story line quests.
