I remember he gave a reason to why he lost interest in GW2 in a video… would take hours to find the specific video/qoute, but I believe it was something along the lines of:
He’s been playing mmos so much that he’s sort of burnt out on the whole genre.

The lack of this feature is actually preventing me from joining a big guild, since I’m in a guild with a group of freinds. I’d have to choose between either participating in whatever guild I join and missing conversations with my freinds, or being another dead non-repping member of the other guild so I can not miss any conversations with my freinds.
So for now I’m saving people the wasted space of a member that doesn’t contribute by sticking to one guild, much as I think the multi-guild feature could be really useful if it just had this one thing.
