Hello all,

I decided that after a year of playing I wanted to buy some gems for a permanent finisher. I purchased the gems and bought the finisher. After clicking confirm nothing happened after a minute, so I did it again. I instantly received 2 finishers of the same kind (which is impossible to buy even if you wanted to) and one of them becomes useless for obvious reasons.

Is there any way to get a refund? I wanted to use those gems for something else

Thanks for the feedback guys, it’s comforting to know whats going on with the whole data when a repair is being attempted or re-patched.

I tried to DL today as is new month / new data time and for the few minutes before work it had already done 6gigs! Should’ve just re-installed the whole thing since I do have the dvd. (durr )

Will most def change ISP.

For those of us who haven’t unlocked sweet revenge it’s a good way to take someone down with you if you know you’re dying anyway in WvW… or at least get a shot at it.

Sometimes it’s great when you’re defending because it gives you a chance to run back to the fortress and die inside. / cries in the corner*

Like the previous poster said, it comes from the term of use nerf guns and nerf balls, which are covered in some kind of styrofoam (horrible spelling, I’m aware) making them safer.

i.e.
If you’d get hit with a golf ball in the head vs a nerf ball, the latter will obviously hurt less. Let’s hope nobody here gets hit in the head with a golf ball.

Anyway, the term NERF then can be used as a verb where “nerfing” or “nerfed” means (in game) reducing a a particular atribute in a dungeon, boss, player, skill, and so forth. Common types of nerf are changes to things such as: toughness, difficulty, speed, distance, duration, etc.

My sprint has been nerfed, now (a. i can only use it every minute, b. only lasts 2 seconds, etc…)

Hi, word is that the patch is around 1.2gb but much like the original poster I have a DL limit (which is just horrid) and I too was at 10% with a 2gig downloaded already. I had played before the patch came up.

It’s nice to know I’m not the only one having to DL more than the patch says it is, just wondering what the reason is.

I do log often, in fact I was on hours before the patch. Sorry, the “to see if it’s worth” was because I get charged for extra bandwidth and I have to pay for each extra gig download.

I’m having trouble with the patch since there were two power shortages… once while patching and another one while a GW2 promt came up while -repairing data- (?)

Could this be the reason I am having to download all over again?
Does anyone know how to check which version you’re currently running?
Perhaps someone could recommend a better solution. (e.g. uninstall – reinstall….)

I don’t understand. The downloader says 2.0gigs so far and only 10%.

Hello, could anyone tell what is the latest patch size? released end of Jan this year 2013.

I might go over my usage quota but I’d love to know by how much to see if it’s worth it.
