I’ve been mainly playing my guardian recently, and this sounds like a great change! Especially if it means that tomes will come back later with an elite spec and be nicer. Always like the idea of them, but they just aren’t in a good spot right now.

Ok, I missed that bit, thanks for pointing it out! I’d still be curious to know how much this will take. “a fair amount” is very vague

I felt like the blog post was a little unclear on what it will take to unlock all traits and skills under the new system. Skill challenges are being transitioned to hero challenges, and hero points (the skill point replacement) are no longer unlimited.

Does this mean that we have to complete every one of these hero challenges to get everything unlocked? If so that is significantly more effort than the original system the game launched with, or even the new trait system that people very much dislike.

So with the ancient karka being a one time event (yes I know its repeating right now but I’d assume thats not going to stay) it feels like this map is very devoid of anything to do and you cant even get map completion.

Other than todays event, as far as I can tell there are only a few gather events scattered around. Are there going to be more added? If so when? Tomorrow, or have they not been developed yet?

Sorry if this has been stated elswhere, but I’m just feeling like this map is going to be pointless after today.

Human Necromancer, no speed boosts.

I’m wondering this too, not all my friends are on the same server and with the 24 hour timer I can only play with some of them.

I’ve had the same issues. I wish at the very least they would regen health while you’re in the “out of combat” state. I wouldn’t call them a “waste of slot” but they have some serious issues.
