It’s a mini-pet. Also, do you think threatening them that you won’t buy anymore mini-pets from the gemstore will make them reconsider? It’s not a super strong weapon or piece of armor. If anything, it’s a goodwill gesture to the people who came out to see them at Gamescom. Quit making a mountain out of a mole hill.

I don’t want everything, I just want the minis. They have no purpose except as collectables, so yes of course the people who are interested are going to want to try and get all of them. No one sets out to collect odd bits and pieces of a set, they might not succeed in completing the collection but that’s always the goal.

I, honestly, felt I got lucky. I bought 40 chests and received 3 minis (2 of the same, missing the snowman unfortunately) and a ticket to get a wooden skin (which is the one thing I was really excited for). I’m sure if more people complained about it then ArenaNet might compromise but I wouldn’t get my hopes up for it. At least, they are making the toy minis purchasable through the gemstore. The other 4 are probably there just for an incentive to buy the chests. You have to look through it as a business model: if you have a 1/1 chance of getting something from buying it then you’re going to have a roof to how much you’ll make; or if you decrease the chance to maybe 1/15 (just guessing here, I have no idea of the drop rate) then you are bound to make more than the first option.

I would gladly pay money for music from holiday events especially the Wintersday event. I have the original soundtrack (which is awesome) but the Wintersday music is by far my favorite in the game.

They never said you were going to get a great item. They literally said there would be a chance of skins and even more of a rare chance to get a mini. They even had the chest contents posted on the wiki with the patch. If you aren’t going to be smart with your money then you have no right to moan and groan about what you don’t get. Do a little bit of research before you buy.

I can’t even take this post seriously. The jumping in the Mad King dungeon isn’t that difficult and is achievable if you watch where you’re going.
