I think you should play soulbeast again before saying something so controversial. Spellbreaker was mega fun and mega powerful in the right hands.
Holosmith, however could really tone it down.
I found deadeye the most fun to play actually. And i main a mesmer. It was fun have to think about when to take aim or move out of the way. Made me feel like a real sniper XD
Mirrors – should not stay on the spot, but should move in straight line to the mesmer – slowly at the start but accelerating and connecting with mesmer in 5-7 sec. (if they hit somebody on the way they do their effect).
Mirage cloak should either baseline or via passive get directional blink with same range as dodge would have.
This.
From what i’ve read so far people are suggesting more mirror cloak generation or more endurance generation.
Agreed with this suggestion. Beast Mode should reward you for staying in Beast Mode since that is the sole purpose of the elite spec. All the other classes are rewarded for using their new mechanic with their elite specialization.
Also agree with the reduce cooldown suggestion on Beast Mode swap.
A cooldown reduction on stances would be nice as well.
Everyone has been complaining about the Revenant energy cost since the class came out but the developers don’t seem to care to change it. They need to remove energy cost from weapon skills. Having both energy and recharge tied to a skill is really a hindrance to the class compared to all the others. Should be one or the other considering how weak a lot of the revenant skills are.
But people have been complaining about it for years nothing will change.
The renegade AI skills do not work when standing in puddles. I was in Spirit Watch and when i ground targeted the puddles it said i could not use it underwater.
What’s the excuse for Jalis and Glint?
I was being serious. It happens on those too? That’s just sad. I’m starting to think they should dedicate one developer per profession so each one gets the attention they need.

In addition they need to enable the Look Behind hot key to work on mounts as well because right now it doesnt.
Emotes would not hurt either.
I’m hoping that they use it the way Necro does where it is a ranged direct damage attack. Doesn’t have to be a GS laser nor a channeled skill but a homed lock on like the necro axe or scepter earth for ele.
This is just speculation opened up for discussion. Contains LS5 spoilers.
Wouldn’t it be the coolest thing if Revenant got pistol and Zinn as the legend some day. In which they turn energy into electricity. With a M.O.X. pet? Golem AI skills? Maybe something else.
Considering this is the Guild Wars 2 Lore class and it would be super awesome to control M.O.X. again, I missed that guy.
This is in reference to the leak of the alleged shortbow being used as the 2nd elite.
With the constant release of outfits it makes me wonder why we have armor ratings in the first place. I don’t mean armor ratings based on stats i mean armor ratings based on appearance.
Why can’t i have an Elementalist with Magitech Medium. Or perhaps a Warrior in Arah Light Armor? What are your thoughts on removing the barriers of armor customization? Going beyond the stats.
The fact that we have very light armor looking outfits as well as heavy armor looking outfits means that it is a possible adjustment. Armor stats should no longer affect appearance if i can use a hammer in a robe.
yah i love the theme and the traps are pretty cool too. I even like the longbow and the active virtues thing is refreshing. What i don’t like is the name? X) What do we have to do to get a One word name? Dragonhunter isnt one word. also Dragonhunter doesn’t exactly scream Guardian. Heck even if it was just Hunter i would be perfectly fine with that.
Vanquisher sounds nice, also suits what they were going for with the whole “Crusader of Dragon Witches” vibe. Cause you are literally using a bow and traps for area control yah.
make it so dodges can dodge the condition damage. end of debate right?
What do you think about including one set of armour for each profession but have it be difficult to obtain. Like you have to do a certain amount of achievements based on the class you have for you to get pieces. I think this would encourage people to play around with alternate characters and feel a sense of uniqueness and accomplishment.
My other idea is to sell profession specific weapons in the gem store. Since gems can be acquired by gold it wouldn’t be a pay to win experience (unless of course they would cost over 800 gems :P)
Ele: Book
Necro: Scythe (yus please, because they looked great in GW1 <-nice dps option)
Mes: Whip (Nightmare Court has it? why can’t we?)
Thief: Nunchuks? :P
Ran: Crossbow
Engi: you can go widely creative here XD
War: Great Axe
Guard: Lance
Give me your suggestions to specific armor and weapons as well
My favourite suggestion: Remove the melee aspect of phase 2 and keep phase 1
They need to reduce the recharge of her dark rings on phase 2. When i used an Engineer using Adrenaline Implant, Speedy Kit + Invigorating Speed and Orrian Truffle and Meat Stew, i find myself still running out of dodge. They should also make the orbs kill the nearby vision of morality because it makes more sense that way. The crappy camera and obstructed orb with terrible spawn time is one thing but making phase 2 harder than phase one when you are usually at 50% health is very unrealistic. It seems like it is a matter of luck more than anything else.
Should i also include that you loose pretty much more than two silver everytime you die:
1.x for repair and 1.x for waypoint
That adds up fast.
