round 1:
In an effort to develop an all powerful weapon the inquest have mistakenly stumbled upon the secret to time travel. Obviously we can’t let the inquest interfere with the past so our heroes have been summoned to confiscate this new potentially destructive technology and end any plans the inquest have to use it.
round 2:
A more curious than cautious Asuran scientist has accidentally opened a rift in the space-time continuum. Strange things are starting to happen in the present and now the heroes must venture to the past to find the cause… Venture to Orr.
Seriously, Orr currently sucks. I hate fighting wave after wave of undead in a broken city there is nothing dynamic about it. What is awesome about Orr is the lore and the infrastructure you have already developed. I want to see Orr re-imagined as a functioning city with a unique and developed culture. I think this could be done in 3-4 zones 1-2 new dungeons and a whole bunch of new armor skins (and not tattered water-decayed crap with skulls and such). I think this would make a great DLC to develop and release when you start working on an expansion. (which i hope and pray you will handle expansions like you did with GW1: standalone games with a full games worth of content)
The camp by this waypoint is always under bandit control. However, the waypoint is never contested and the seraph bodies are always there for revival. When i clear the camp I can revive about half an NPC before the bandits respawn and i have to kill them all again. Not sure that this is a bug but it seems like a small event chain that isn’t firing to me. My server is Henge of Denravi and I have observed this several times over the past few weeks.
Cattlepult is still bugged currently on Henge of Dervani. I cannot talk to Mad Mardine and when i talk to tigh snatchskull he says he cant talk he has to go get cattle.
I like the idea of something like this. I tend to think that it should be a little more complicated than this though. I would still like a little bit of utility with my res. So like a hard res for each class that offers some sort of class specific utility. Anyways they have to do something and i’m confident that they will figure it out.

So we cant wp when we die anymore, wah. Where was the fun or strategy in that? It was such a broken mechanic, frankly, I’m glad it’s gone.
I do agree that they have things to fix. Like how difficult it is to revive someone who is completely dead vs how easy it is for a boss to wreck you while you’re downed. Also the loot distribution I’ve seen people crying about is a problem. But this is the kind of problem that you expect to see when a patch like this comes out.
So look for future patches to correct some of the real issues and not the “It’s too hard now!” crap I have been seeing. If you don’t want to play something that challenges you then go watch TV.
Also you “casual gamers” I am a full time engineering student with a part time job besides that. I play casually at best and I still have little problem accomplishing a dungeon with a group of friends. The only problem i have with PUGs is that everyone is crying about how flipping hard it is.
Anyways this game is moving in the right direction I think and a lot of people need to grow up and quit with the crying. It is an embarrassment to the human race.
