I got an idea, how about a condition that prevents cleansing abilities? Call it hex. If the person affected by hex were to use a condition cleanse, the cleanse is negated and the target is dazed for 1 second and takes damage(The hex is removed once this occurs).
Again this would cause you to see guardians and their light fields as an unwanted element. Goes against the main philosophy that other players should be a welcome sight not a hindrance.
Effect on removal conditions will likely never show in this game
In the first Guild Wars was a Mesmer spell where if the target were to cast an ability while under its effect, the ability would be negated and would do damage not only to them, but to all allies around them. It’s not “being a hindrance” if the Guardian has any clue what’s going on around them to know when to use the fields, and since they can see all conditions on allies near them, then it wouldn’t be too hard to pay attention to how long he’d have to wait to cast it. So classes need to put a bit more effort into timing their support abilities, I’d say that helps players learn to be helpful than a hindrance, rather than just spam heals and cleanses once they’re off cooldown.

He and Fixi really seem to work well together, like Fixi seems a bit more calm and informative, while Blu uses a bit more energy. It’s a really good mesh between the two styles.
It looks like, based off of other rare drops any ways, that you can craft it by using arcane slivers and paid tourney tokens. But, like the chests, it’s rare that it’ll happen. And yeah, sometimes you get what you don’t need, like I got Dwayna’s Longbow and 2 pairs of medium fused gauntlets pretty recently, and I don’t really need them. XD

All the components needed for each gear requires salvaging other pvp gear to gain the dust, core/crystals/slivers, and the rank/tourney tokens. Hey there. This link should give you the info you need.
Thank you for reply, but unfortunately i couldn’t find a recipe for the PvP Long Sword. If you could tell me where i should look for it exactly, would be very good.
P.S. And i know how to craft pvp weaponsCheck in the locker what is pvp name for your sword
.
That is the name, I looked it up to make sure.
It might actually be like a lot of the exotic skins, (like the precursor skins) where you can get them in tourney chests, but it’s a rare chance you will. That’s the only other idea I have, sry I couldn’t be of more assistance.

edit: oh I might’ve misunderstood the question, thought you meant crafting in general, my bad. XP

I was thinking about how tournaments could work with Custom Arenas, and one thing that comes to mind is possibly using gold. Say you have a 2-team tourney like the ones set up for tpvp, but you set it up in the CAs, registry fees are 5 gold a team, basically 1 gold per player. winning team gets 7 gold 50 silver, the rest of the money that was used in registry fees goes to funding the CA. But this is just a rough idea, probably could be expanded on or possibly a better idea than this.
PvP is already Cross server. Maybe you are talking about cross region (EU/NA) but i can’t see it happening.
A cross server heart of the mists would be amazing, th0.
Ah okay. Yeah Cross Region is what I meant. ty
I heard it in the zone chat for Heart of the Mists, and honestly I think it might be a good idea. It would bring more players into the same field (Making a leader board a bit more effective due to the larger player base), and it could get rid of some of the issues such as a lack of players for tourney games. The biggest problem I’d see here is latency, but I don’t think it’s enough to deter players from enjoying the game. But what do you guys think of Cross Server for sPvP?
