I find it funny that so many people are trying to find a work-around for what seems to be a DDOS attack (which generally hits many of the servers) and complaining that it it still goes down. I would just give up for the time being and let ANET resolve the problem. Go outside, get some fresh air, watch some movies, go to bed…something.

Slamming the login servers constantly, watching “connection error” on the loader, or complaining “IT STILL DOES NOT WORK!” over and over, wont get them to resolve the issue any faster lol. Go enjoy life, lord knows we don’t need to be logged on every nanosecond.

what’s DDOS attack really mean?, can you be more specific if you know what happened? i am curious. Thanks.

the -assetsrv 64.25.41.2 worked for me as said before you just add it in behind the last "sign open properties of shortcut to get to target area and there you copy paste it behind last " sign you need to add space between them as well so it worked

Maybe its full now? Coz its not working anymore none of the 3.. Wish i had not logged out ughh :/

Ya was working fine with a bit lagg so i decided to log in again and boom workaround not working anymore.. Maybe it is full?? Though i tried all 3 mentioned same result..

Instead of normal shortcut for launching use this assetsrv one for now it worked for me i am in the game.. Do not delete that shortcut for now or “maybe” you have to download the patch again..

Ohk ya this is like one timer.. After the download i was able to log in so i decided to turn the client off and on again just to check and “connection error detected retrying” again..

Guess we will have to wait for actual fix from anet or use this one timer and dont turn off the game? xD

it works, but it’s downloading something, I take it a patch after the July 11th update?

Me too.. Man i thought i was the only one having this issue.. It worked fine yesterday after the update then this morning i try to log in for the first time and boom “connection error detected retrying” everytime.. Tried everything then decided to write on forum..
