Yeah, I blame Cider
There’s a setting in System Preferences > Mouse
I don’t have my Mac with me currently or I’d tell you the exact checkbox, but look for something that says “Use Natural Scrolling” or something like that. Basically that checkbox will do what that scroll reverser thing is doing systemwide.
Bootcamp all the way, but I agree with the last poster, if it runs that bad in Cider I doubt going through all the trouble to partition off Bootcamp and install Windows is going to help. You might want to look at your video card first.
Ranger. Name yourself “sdjafhkjh” and keep your pet named “Juvenile Whatever”
Get 4 friends to do the same, then run around mid-level zones focus-firing on only yellow mobs.
Oh wait..
I have 8 characters, 1 of each Profession as well.
I swear I spend more time on the character selection screen than playing.
Not sure what your problem is, and I don’t have an answer per se, but I can tell you that I use the Diablo 3 Steelseries mouse for GW2 in both the Mac and Win client and it works fine.
go for the 1Gb for sure
the preceding post makes nigh guarantee, i just happen to be better at googling than you at this particular juncture
Not sure if this will work but try opening up Activity Monitor and see if there are multiple instances (or even just one) of GW2 running – quit/force-quit those and then try re-launching.
Again, this is just something that plagues my system, and this is my fix for it, so GL!
I run into this every once and awhile, but what I’ve found works is to visit an actual TP NPC (as opposed to just hitting O in the field)
Not saying that’s a fix, just a handy band-aid in case you can’t get anything else to work..
Does it just not launch? Or is there an error message?
Same here, swapping is the way to go.
Agreed, a minor detail, possibly better served in the Suggestions forum, but all the same – seems like as you level you have to trash them once you’ve ‘outgrown’ them because you can’t mule the leftovers to an alt.
This might be a long shot – but open Activity Monitor and see if there is an instance of GW2 already running and force quit it.
Question: Will there ever be a native OS X version?

Same here, might just be something in settings, but when I loaded this up under Mac OSX instead of Windows the graphics were so much better/smoother. Thanks again for this client!!
So it’s not just me who’s been getting enough butter to lube up the entire Flame Legion?
the butter drops are epic as heck
