I think this is a great idea, it’ll lessen the gap between pugs and organized groups because most organized groups hate pugs because of the severe penalty of rally bait. Also, i think it generally makes the fights more fair.

First, even though i like this…Balance Stance proc’s Rousing Resliance while not stunned or not in combat. I just stand there and press it and can see im getting the bonus either way
Second, the Trait Blood Reaction isnt gaining the bonus precision(180) from Signet of Fury. I gain the same amount of crit% using it or not using it.

You don’t even need to take away siege as most uses it out of choice, I don’t see them taking out elements out of WvW just because people envision it differently, we already have EoTM if you don’t like the state of WvW and vice versa really.
EoTM solves nothing except a place for new players to karma train without ppl raging at them for rezing the enemy when they die. I don’t understand your last sentence there.
I wouldn’t mind seeing one week with nothing but camps, SM and Garri. I don’t know if it would be better but it would be different.
HA!, man screw camps the whole system of supply slows down the fun in this game and anet has to know about it. With a high rank each player can now hold a max of 20 supply which already changed the meta and focus of wvw players. Then again i dont like seige. It gives power to the economy of this game to determine wvw victorys in a way.( from the buying and selling of superior seige and control of the market.)yay…………………….-_-
Im one of those guys that has been playing wvw since the beta’s of this game and havnt missed to many resets.(sadly) Ive been tired of the same unchanged thing over and over. So i’ve adapted and changed my reasons for playing this game along time ago and got down to the true essence of it and that’s fights, rivalry, and competition, especially “few against the many” type of warfare.(no seige)
So anyway heres some ideas on how to make wvw more interesting, comment if you also have anything to add.
-Each week could be a differnt game type for WvW instead of PPT
-1 week could be no seige
-1 week the bloodlust nodes could do somthing differnt that influences more fights in the mid map or influences more roamers.
-1 week certain structure’s can be moved or replaced or taken out.
ex: Garrison is in near the mid map and only keep on map, influencing 3 way fights and gives home BL defenders a wild experience.
-1 week do ppt
I dont know be creative anet, break down your walls. These are just examples.
GvG: This needs to be its own game type with a que system where u can match against other guilds and have its own leaderboards within its own zone (guild halls maybe) kind of like the mist is to spvp.
-Game types need to be added (gw1 had some good ones)
– Ranking systems need to be added
– Maybe even weight system like boxing ex: glassy spec comps vs other Glassy and/or mixed up like heavy comps vs glassy. may depend on how you want it blannced or ranked.
-Rewards, titles, and gear would also be legit. somthing anet isnt familiar with, i know.
Overall rewards should be a thing, ive put alot of hrs in this and played for nothing but fights and the thrill and is getting hard within my own guild to keep ppl interested in this game. Those extractors are so kittening expensive you my’d as well get another 6 runes, should by buy once and keep forever instead of it having 1 use charges
Hey rednik, OnS supports banner regen specs. I guess thats why u get rocked by me. Keep following, its the best thing a follower can do.
If you cant make a spec that works that’s on you and it’ll be your downfall.
PS.(you dont need alot of banner spec war’s, 1 for every 15ppl is amazing and probably to confusing for you.)
Agony, when i wrote this thread i’m talking about T1/GvG combat NOT PVE. I dont care at all about your pve glass specs and views on how long a dungeon should take.
and about the 3 banners i wasnt aiming that at you, was something i read above.

Agony i disagree with about everything u just said.
I think were talking about 2 different reality’s on the the capabilities and true/good play styles for warrior.
btw if your running 3 banners for your utlitys your probably a scrub cause your a one trick pony, even with banner regen youll get stomped on. Only thing i agree with is the powerfull aoe buffs that cant be removed. Id rather see these get nerfed for better ease of use for banners and in turn more fun.
Alot of good ideas here, hope Anet picks some of them up.
The buffs banners grant are already good enough. In fact the buffs these banners grant are extremely good, except for banner of tactics, but well the 2nd skill of that banner can work aswell.
What we don’t need are toolkitbanners or blinks for warriors. I’m sorry but as Utrajoe already stated, banners are quite strong but are somewhat kept in balance by their unpleasant handling. Maybe a secondary skill with something like a 30 sec cooldown, starting once the banner was planted that brings the banner back into the hand of the warrior could work, but in return some of the banner utilities would have to go in return.
BTW banner of Tactics is one of the most powerfull banners, +healing +boon duration is HUGE and the num2 on it is kick kitten especially with its synergy to banner regen specs.
Also, all this talk about how banners are SO POWERFULL is a load of kitten, alot of warriors have powefull skills that they can walk around with them and keep whenever they like, i dont see the difference if i invested my traits and a utlility in a banner and had a easyer time keeping it around me. I always go back to pick that banner up and move to the next area but that puts me out of position and not with the group witch can not fly in teir 1 wvw open feild combat.
I have been thinking of a way to make banners easier to use therefore more viable.
Reasons why banners are a pain:
-picking them up to place them down again for them to even be usefull to a mobile fight
-certain area of effectiveness
-weak skills on some of them(1-5)
-no way to recall or move your banner without physically having to run up press F and continue
What im mainly bringing up here is the lack of mobility or feeling anchored to the banner area, after all if you chose a banner on one of your utliliys, to make best use of your spec now is to hold on to and move n drop your banner in the right spots to get the full effect or it becomes a complete waste compared to other warrior skills, especially with banner healing specs.
SO, my idea here goes along with skills that have 2 effects if hit once or twice, for example the gaurdian staff 2 healing orb, if press twice it pops n heals aoe.
For example: A banner is summoned, the normal happens, it blasts and starts give off its effects. What if pressed again an AoE maker shows up and that banner can be replaced or recalled 1 time no matter the distance to a more effective area in combat, doing dmg but no blast(only if it is picked up and num5 is used) until the cool down is reset and can be summoned again
I think this can also bring the trait “Powerful Banners” some more light and also give banner war’s more fluidity in the play style.
I’ve played a banner healing spec for 6-7 months and conquered in wvw when i was on SoS and understand the insane healing and sustainability it pumps out but i also understand why ppl dont choose to use it. My spec is still great but something is missing compared to the other amazing builds I’ve found, mostly of what i just mentioned.

This would be SO good if this somehow happened. I mean Anet has so much lore and great story line to add a lot of different branches of missions (maybe even each mission line specific to the precursor), plus you got Jeff Grubb, he can think of anything.
Also, since prices of precursors are so radically high and effected by ppl buying gold this is a MAJOR way to level that problem out. For example me: I collected all the mats, done world completion working on my crafts and all but i STILL wont get the legendary because of this insane price for precursor(670+gold), and if i’m waiting to get lucky i my’d as well just stop playing cause that’s not gonna happen. (Im talking about The Colossus specificlly…)
So why not at the same time add PVE content and save your games economy by adding this option. What you think?

The ultimate pvp is and always will be most kills win. Anet has to change the scene and feel of pvp and get away from WoW’s skeleton design of MMO pvp with standing in nodes.

I have a easy idea to make salvaging certain rarity’s of armor much less frustrating by not having to GUESS what item is what. Salvaging shouldn’t be so much false clicking and dealing with pop ups because it was a green item.
SO…why not just add a function that when you activate a salvage kit by double clicking have ALL the items in the inventory have a color coded frame around that item, visually telling you immediately what rarity that item is and its worth.

I fell off a keep wall today into death cause of this lol
I have a norn warrior and i noticed when i’m running/auto running while pressing F to pick up my banner ahead of me i run past it and lose control of my character for like 1.5 sec. Happens 5/10 times, its weird…also sometimes when i run into say a rabbit or an environment animal i sometimes stop and get stuck.
I think it would be sick if my weopens were visible while i held a banner, like a sword/sheild or my 2hnd or whatever with a banner. just an idea, what u think?
I noticed that there are a lot of good hammer skins but most don’t shine cause of the size of the model of the hammer. For example the seraph lion head hammer or the norn t3 cultural hammer, both look decent but lack the size u want a 2hnd hammer to be when u swing.
YES! add some giant server wide events for endgame. I really thought you guys were gonna do that already. Do you guys have something already planned and just waiting for somthing? whats the news.
