After reading this https://help.guildwars2.com/entries/38813526-Common-Error-Codes , I added Inbound and Outbound firewall rules to my computer. "Guild Wars 2 requires TCP ports 80, 443, and 6112 to be fully unrestricted and accessible, both inbound and outbound. "

That seemed to have worked. About 7 days ago, my Win10 computer added Cortana? Whatever that is.. But I bet the upgrade messed up my firewall settings.

Just wondering if this ever cleared for you. I’m in the same boat – lags started about 7 days ago. Guess I’ll contact my ISP but game is unplayable.

I am proceed with the collections, taking the gear to the different places at night but a couple of them have me stuck. Would love any specific location information about these:
1) Hidden garden. I have gone in during night, did JP, stood near the chest with all 4 items, nothing. So, I collected them again, and went back later, thinking that I took too long. Still nothing. I even waited until reset when the chest could be looted again. It is titled Gnarl of Melendru – I guess that could be part of the tree. I’m just not sure what I do, it what order.

2) Steeleye Span – The descriptions says Siege Devourer. Do I need to interact with a particular NPC?

Having issue with this. The tag says " Found by looting the Eye of Zhaitan while helping the pact capture the Promenade of the Gods in Cursed Shore".

Just did that event and killed the Wizard as the Pact retook the promenade, but the Eye was not in the mix. Does it appear elsewhere? (It can be found in different events.)

Anyone else have luck with this one?

Just to close the issue, yes, these do drtop from non-HoT nodes

Just wonder if the meteortie ore will drop from any Orich nodes or if they must be in the HoT maps? Anyone have luck outside HoT?

I did the Megadestroyer’s event a couple hours ago with a Quartz Vial in my inventory but never received the Destroyer’s Heat. Was there something I needed to interact with?

For the other collections, I just received the item after the boss or mob was down.

My first set of ascended was zerker but as I rotated into WvW more, I ended up crafting a second set using Soldiers with Trooper runes. I am a shout/front line with hammer sw/wh and using the meta 00464 build. Overtime, I’ve tweaked a bit by adding a Knights coat for the extra precision and recently, switching to Melandru. This doesn’t provide as much vitality, but for my role, I needed the condi clearing aspects. A copy of the build is below.
