Guild Wars 2

I haven’t used the cosmetics although I did open the chest they’re in and the pieces are just sitting in my bank. I did, however, use the actual low level armour that came with it; will this stay if I start from scratch?

Also got a reply from support but no dice. Was worth a shot anyways. Lookw like I’ll have to start fresh.

It’s just the thought that all that time I put in will be put to waste. Mind you I’m a bit of a slow paced gamer so it takes me time to reach milestones. If it has to come to that then I suppose I’ll have to start on a clean slate.

@Thaddeus: I do, yes. They’ve got their own guild going and stuff, hence why I wanna join them. I don’t think transferring to a different server would work for them since they’re pretty well established already. We thought about the guesting thing but I would just prefer it if I were on the same server as the, just less hassle.

On a side note, I bought the Heroic Edition and got some armour cosmetics. Will they be lost if I start on a clean slate or will they be saved somewhere?

I suppose so, but it just puts me off that I’ll have to work all the way from the start again. I know I’m only lvl 15 at the moment but it’ll just seem like a grind.

One of my friends suggested logging a ticket with support, I doubt it would work but it’s worth a shot I suppose.

Hey all,

I got the game over the weekend and was wondering if it’s possible to switch servers without having to pay with gems.

The reason why I’m asking is simply because I kinda rushed head on into the game and picked a server that’s different to what my friends are currently playing on. I know that it’s possible to swap servers for free by deleting my characters but I’ve already invested quite a bit of time to want to have to start all over again.
