GvG at the expense of what? That is the issue. GvG is already in practice on many servers for those guilds that care to coordinate.

What are you guys suggesting ANet do then?

Implement cross server(or not), organized guild vs. guild battles with a ranking and leader board system. Much like how it was set up in GW1 basically.

GvG was one of the main draws for me in GW1, that and the Hall of Heros.

I think it’s interesting this game is called Guild Wars when you cannot even have guild battles. Sure guilds can fight in WvW but it’s not structured, there isn’t a goal or rank and pugs can ruin the fun.

Give us Guild Wars! Bring back guild ranks and Guild Halls. Also capes!

1. Actual reward system or some way to feel that you have actually WON something.
Currently, a server winning the week gets no reward…wtf is that? Why is there no prize for winning, where is the feeling of accomplishment?!

Want to get more people into WvW Anet? How about you actually give them a reason to show up.

I like how Anet took all the things that made GW1 popular (for my friends and I at least) and threw them in the trash for GW2. GvG, Hall Of Heros, and EMOTES! Maybe it was just me but half the reason to play in the Hall of Heros was getting my rank up for that kittening Tiger emote.

The Hall of Heros was a glorious triumph of PvP in an MMO and it’s gone, all we have is WvW and it took half a year to just get a kitten ranking system with no obvious reward. Winning in GW1 felt like an achievement, winning (what ever that might mean) in GW2 feels like…nothing.
