I’m a pure pug so i mostly blob with pug commander or scout towers. But while blobbing i get kitten loads of loot. I know that PvE may give much more money but i have zero interest in PvE ^^
Can anyone please specify how can i transform my karma into gold?

I’m playing WvW and only WvW for a few month already and i do not feel any critical lack of gold ones in a while. But i heard recently that ppl making 30-35g per evening. I personaly feel i get less than that, even playing guard and necro, so i just wanted to ask maybe i just misuse the loot that i get.
I salvage all blues and greens to impruve my MF, it’s about 137% now.
I sell all yellow and exotic on BLTC.
I open all loot bags.
I sell all mats (exept one needed for superior seige) on BLTC.

So what do i do wrong? Maybe selling staff is more profitable than salvaging or visa versa – i should salvage yellow too? Or put it in Mystic forge?
How much MF do i need, should i stope or aime to hit 150% or 200% or push it too 300%?
Any advise here will be greatly appreciated.

ps: my goal is not earning big money as it is, but since i enjoy WvW so much and play it alot i want to optimize my profit.

comes down to fairness. If a keep took 50 people 2 hrs to take it should worth more than the same keep taken by 3 person. Yes I have taken keeps with 1 golem and 3 players a few times in the morning. I really don’t think my 10 mins of pvd with 2 friends is the same kitten people at 8pm est working 2 hrs to take the same keep.

Basicaly if it took u 2h to take a keep with 50 players on u, it means that u fought against roughly same numbers of constantly respavning enemys. And if u eventually took that keep, it means u have just farmed a kitten out of those guys. So, u got ur reward for the Lord (about 40 of them actually, cuz i can get bag from bannered Lord every 3 minutes) and a kitten loads of bags and greens/blues. Now i totally failed to see what’s the problem for u…
Also i have to say that i live in CET +2 zone and i usually sleep evenings and then play at nights cuz thats the time when u can have the most insane, skilled and fun commanders, and the best fights, not zone blobs steamrolling over each other but really interesting fights; regardless my server population mostly consists of +1 to +4 CET zones.
So stop making thing up about ppl playing out of their time zones and all unfairness of that. Who wants – does, who doesn’t want – whines.

Playing WvW for achievements is totally worthless, but when u play WvW for fun, teamwork and spirit it’s a different thing. You do what u love to do and occasionally get some small rewards (achievements) for that.
So no, numbers shouldn’t be reduced.

i absolutely loved it!
I started playing WvWvW in about 4 weeks before Ligue started and i was an upscaled newbie. First week playing i thought that we literally own SM like our keep and wp there is permanent Now i know what a real competition looks like, and i adore it.
I think we’ll need Ligues running more often cuz playing without long view goal arn’t that fun

it’s not even close to “friendship between servers”, atm it’s all about strategy of winning the league. Viz needed u to come third in that matchup, and they made sure u do

Hi, everyone!
I spent last 3 evenings on Eternal BG, almost all the time with zerg teams, and i have some questions now. Some help for newbie plz
1. When ppl gather to buff up commander asks for Static Field. What for? In gives no buffs.
2. Why buff anyway? All boons last not THAT long. Basically they fall off by the time we reach any enemy.
3. Should i always return to Overlook WP to get new supplies when i’m around SM? People don’t seem very happy when someone takes SM supplies.
4. Should i purchase and carry with me any Siege weapon? How will i know the right time and place to use it?
5. I play mesmer atm and i heard mesmer can teleport it’s m8s through closed gates. How’s that? I know about Portal Entre, but how would i get through that door in first place? o_O or mb i misunderstood that…
6. What class are the most supportive in WvW? Though i like mesmer very much, i don’t feel it does much good for the other players, no water fields, nothing like guardian shouts.

Also i will be happy to find some friendly guild on SFR to run around together. Preferably with voice communication, i have some hard time typing because english is not my native language.
I’m lvl 51 atm, geared in Vit/Tough, do almost no dmg, but kinda hard to kill :?

From my tiny experience (1,5 month playing) I can tell what works for me – it’s trying out everything, one by one, and then stick to things that really make me happy with this game.
I love leveling, so i have 2 80s already.
I go for W3 coz i love crowding and really admire commanders jobe.
I farm Queensdale champs in hope to get some cool weapon skins.
I farm Frostgore Sound champs for money, and also because i like to outrun other people ^^
I do world boss events cuz it field really epix, especially Claw of Jormag, when he crushes from sky into the ice ocean – WOW! thats the coolest thing ever!
I explore maps and it makes me feel more like a part of this world, and like a daring adventurer.
I’m fond of achievements, so i track them, and try to progress them every day a little bit. I really look forward to getting some cool titles.

So you should try things, and put some reasoning in them, and you’ll be fine :P

I really haven’t thought about achievements (wich are realy tasty for me) and leveling one of the characters by means of crafting, especially if ascended items are account bound, 8 professions on one character shouldn’t be a problem.

Hi, guys! i’ve been playing GW2 for 3 weeks, got my first character to 80 and now i have a little question about professions. Though it can sound realy stupid, here it is: what’s the use of crafting professions?
I figured out i can buy any exotic gear i want, any sigil of gem to upgrade it. So i would realy appreciate if you could point out for me some benefits crafting can give. Maybe some soulbond crafted items are better than those on BLTC, or i can earn more money on crafting useful items, or anything else, i realy dont know.
One thing i do know, i need professions to make Legendary weapon, but i don’t think i’ll get to it in any foreseeable future.
I’ll really appreciate any advice here. Thank you.
