On normal monsters without any super buff the highest ive seen was a 41k crit with killshot.

On monsters with crazy high buffs (such as in mursaat or jotun paths) Ive done well over 80k with my auto-attack as a tanky ele. I assume other players could easily get higher.

On critters the highest ive seen was 1.2million

Wow. 80 guardian and the highest crit I’ve seen on a single hit (excluding critters) was around 7-8k. Of course, I don’t pay attention to the combat log.

Yes, please. Just ground with about a 30% speed boost would be nice. Feels very non-heroic walking around.

I’m enjoying reading the slippery slope posts, though. First, ground mounts. Then, flying mounts. Then…pandas. I don’t get why so many players think so much about WoW. Do other similarities between GW2 and WoW bother them? Or is it only the mounts concept?

They’d encourage exploration. For those who say folks will rush past, missing content and DEs, why would it be any different than current speed boosts? No one’s suggesting 200% speed boosts.

Seriously, though…you can make a decent looking male. Some of the defaults are a bit androgynous, if not downright feminine. I was really happy with how my human male turned out, though.

That’s just the price of being on the zergiest server.

Posting something that nets less than a vendor is really weak. Walk to a merchant. They’re fairly common. I end up vendoring/salvaging most drops. People will keep undercutting. I wish that the minimum listing price was enough to still net 1c, because these yahoos will keep undercutting, unaware that they’re giving money away. Although I do think the claim that it’s an altruistic act is pretty funny. A bunch of Robin Hoods running around Tyria.
