Guild Wars 2

I’m a returning player and my bf is new(ish), we’re on Mag server and enjoy WvW, but it’s not necessary (for us) to be in a guild on our server as we’re mainly just looking for a large guild to go into the new expansion with and to PvE stuff with.

We’d like (if possible):
+ Medium to large size guild
+ Scheduled guild missions
+ People willing to help out with quests, etc.
+ Maxed guild hall

Not sure where to ask this, so asking here. Is it possible to buy the PoF expansion for a friend without going through a third-party website?

Thanks for the response. I grabbed the pingplotter program as suggested and it appears the issue is coming from some company out of Dallas? Here “ae-25-0.ear1.Dallas1.Level3.net” … that’s the name it listed, so am I just screwed or is there a way to bypass it? The game is basically unplayable for me right now and it’s only gotten worse. I’ve been getting disconnected consistently whenever I try to do anything with a lot of other players around. If I’m not disconnecting, I’m freezing up for sometimes up to a minute or longer. Even doing small things, by myself with no one around, like putting items in my guild hall treasury I’ll freeze up briefly. It’s incredibly frustrating and I’ve no idea how to fix it(or if I even can), I’m not very tech savvy when it comes to this kind of stuff lol.

Starting about a week ago (tops) I’ve been getting really bad lag and rubber-banding issues in all game types. The frame will freeze sometimes for a couple seconds, other times up to 30 secs to a minute before re-syncing and snapping back into action. Other players show as running into a wall or a certain direction and then a completely different direction when it finally decides to right itself. – I don’t have the ‘best’ internet, but the speeds haven’t changed and I’ve never had these issues in GW2 until a handful of days ago, so I can only assume it’s something due to the last patch or update that was released.
