I just spent lots of hours getting a Storm Wizard Super Pistol skin, just to realize that the cool “pew pew” sound doesn’t play when using an off-hand pistol with the Mesmer. In the video below, the Thief uses his auto-attack and his number 3 skill, and the sound is produced:
For Mesmers, I would’ve hoped that at least the number 5 skill worked, but it just does the normal Magic Bullet sound. Maybe because the bullet doesn’t come out of the pistol since it’s magic? I dunno, it’s pretty disappointing. It would’ve been cool to hear your pistol phantasm use these guns too.
When equipped, could the Super Pistol sound overwrite the normal sounds for the Mesmer pistol skills?
Isn’t there a trait for this?
Well, after 50 minutes the event suddenly started with no cutscene, but nearly everyone had already given up on it ever happening and now there are about 4 of us left so we can’t do a thing. Wonderful.
Same thing is happening here. We’re getting massacred.
Catapult has just finished building. No karkas in sight.

NVM, now it says to go board the ship. Seems like there was no event at all.
The catapult is still in construction in Northern Shiverpeak’s Overfow. It has been about 20 minutes since it started building.
The ship has appeared at the docks, but there was no event at all.
Also, the quest text has not changed since Phase 1. No “board ship”.

Having the same problem. I couldn’t access the guild stash (of the guild I created), so I tried reconnecting with no success. Then, I tried standing down and representing, but Represent no longer works.
Please fix this ASAP!
