While this is bad and its great news to see that Anet is aware of this, I have noticed that there is a fix, if you have it… For instance, if you have the golden queen’s pavillion/captain’s airship pass (or any similar instant teleport item), then you can leave the corrupted map.

This error is rendering the game unplayable… I cannot move to other zones… This has never happened on such a consistent basis.

Its like playing the game, but all the waypoints to other regions are locked and you cannot leave your current map.

My ranger is stuck in the labyrinth… cannot leave and go to lion’s arch due to the same error. I’ve tried resetting the router and restarting the pc… but it didn’t help.

Edit: LOL I used the golden captain airship ticket to get out, it apparently works in the labyrinth. After going back in, the error persists when I try to exit the labyrinth to Lions Arch.

Also got network error just now at the tequatl event… this has been consistently going on and forming an anti-dc party didn’t help as I wasn’t able to go back in after logging in about 5 seconds later. This has been going on for a while now and this shouldn’t happen. This problem needs to be dealt with now!

I bought a lot of gems since I started in GW2, way more than I would like to admit… but if its going to be like this, I’m not spending another penny until this is changed back. Bonus points if we get an apology over this bad move and/or new content.

I’d rather go and make purchases in a game that allows me to buy exactly what I want without any leftovers… swtor, here I come!

Latency/Lag for EU Players? [merged]

Location: London, UK. Using Virgin Media

Time/Date: Happened over the past few weeks, latest incident was 30th September from 11:30 pm to 12:15 am (the next day)

Server: Seafarer’s Rest

Brief description of what you’re seeing: It was while I was waiting for the Tequatl event… I was getting spontaneous disconnections (back to the character select page). About 1-3 minutes before the event, people started rubber-banding and disappearing. During the Tequatl event, I was disconnected once in the same manner as before (but was thankfully in a party). Also, I noticed that when Tequatl hits his hand, the wave appears about 5 seconds after he does that, even though I get knocked back by his wave even though it hasn’t reached me.

- When I had time to run dungeons (about 2 weeks ago), I used to get about 2-3 lag spikes lasting 30 seconds long in Twilight Arbor (forward path) and Cidatel of Flame Path 2 dungeons only. This is most frequent at reset for some reason.

I have an alt account on Northern Shiverpeaks.

The lag started a bit before the EU account, since 3 weeks.

The lag is greater than EU and there is also a skill lag of about 5 seconds on average (2 seconds on a good day).
