Well. After our first win, I went on holiday to Fissure of Woe, to play with IRL mates for a while.

Unfortunately, while I’ve been playing minimum hours, Futilez has shut up shop, and moved in to VoTF. So when I return this coming match up, I’ll hopefully be joining them there.

This flaming is terrible here, lets not have a Moderator step in like they had with BT/VS/AB thread, turn it civil guys.

However I’d like to say one thing. I’d never have Russian’s in the NA servers. With how much the Russians and Yanks hate one another, that would not go well. There aren’t many of them at all really, and I find it rather unfounded and rude to single them out so much for something that is out of their control.

Was too easy, no scouts, Quaggan and white sword diversions elsewhere. We messed up garrison tho.. Pu the Superiors to far to the right to hit the inner and outer wall at Garrison (Silly Default!), so we just portaled in another team and waited PRXcoming in the South Westgate.

Was a nice match up, shame I’m going out with the squadies tonight, but they’ve jsut came home from Tour so I owe them a few drinks.

Well. I dunno what to make of this match up. There seems to be alot of crying over it about who doing what, seems to me like it should all go unsaid really.

In my eyes, SFR is -SLACKING- this week. Hell, we know we’ve won this, the number of us who are PvEing rather than WvWing for score is ridiculous. Yet, there are still queues, just not as often.

Aegis, hats off, had some fun fighting against you lot. Tho, we were so short of players between VoTF andkittenthe other night, that at one point I was having to run our forces (which is needless to say a disaster!) .

KAZ, Aegis, RED, MMO, hats off to the play you’ve put against us of late. And in truth the comments made earlier about us not being brilliant at defending split attacks is somewhat right. And we are already talking over how to tackle this, thanks for opening our eyes to it before we moved up.

I won’t be makingkitten#8217;s raid tonight, my dads turning 44 on the 12/12/12.. Sadly not at 12:12.12 Or that would be real jokes.

I’ve been playing till 4AM personally (GMT) and BB seems to have a lot of late night players, more than I thought they would have. No idea why this is, but they do vanish before I do.

I’ve not seen much of PRX personally, but I’ll look out for them tomorrow night.

I had a lot of fun with FU today, on BB Board Land. We were in the North most Supply camp, just farming the Portal Point of BB.

Hats off to KATS and RED who both came up to attack us. A little more organization, and you’d of had us. Harressing us on our way to Bay was a smart move, nearly cost us Bay, but we portaled our way away from you to get back in time.

If you have all come down at once, rather than sitting up on the high ground, we’d of been squashed. Our Ram at the Portal was a nifty little trick I thought, allowing us to AoE you as soon as you appeared there, with the two Arrow carts to cover the sides.

I kinda don’t want to fight in T1 after reading this thread. So much hate for tactics.

Doesn’t matter how you win(As long as it’s not glitching or haxing!), as long as you win. If it’s by a point or by 100,000. A win is a win.

SRF will be up there soon enough, and it will be interesting to see how well we fare. I’ll certainly bring my A game. Deso know how we play, and we know Black Tide are more than likely watching us.

Lets Royal Rumble this. Tomorrow, when all is dead and set, lets have a match up. 1-2 Guilds from each server, rumbling off in a corner away from the pugs. While we can’t control every variable of this, there is no reason why a few guilds can’t put there skill where their mouth is!

Prove your boast with your kills, not your words, for this end of match up bit of fun. I’m sure it will be recorded for all to see. I’ll be speaking with SRF Community.

It doesn’t matter how skilled or powerful you are,you will always be outnumbered by the mediocre.

SFR is well aware it’s not ready for BlackTide. We aren’t silly, we know the issue we have. Ask IRON, I’ve already started looking into the tactics of the Tier 1 team and how to combat them, and I know the disadvantages we’ll suffer if we go up.

Any one of us can come up with any excuse for losing. I could moan that my Condition damage stacking Warrior build doesn’t DP well enough (it doesn’t, it sucks hard, I’ll be getting rid of it soon). However, at the end of the day, it’s my choice to pick to play that way. I pick the server I play on. I pick who I run about with. I pick what I play, and how I play it.

If we have a problem, there is only one way to go about it, upwards till it’s sorted.

Now I’m going away once more before Christmas for work, so will be in Paris till Thursday. Make sure you are all on Thursday night, I wanna come and find you and show you what my little conditon damage build can do to you

BORN upon Sea Farers Rest are defense Heavy normally. I’d have a word with them.

We are a group of veteran WvW players. We are home to a handful of proven and reliable commanders. We are looking for a new server to call home. The reasons why we are looking is unimportant. What is important is that, as a guild, we are in the process of discussing and deciding on a new server to call home.

The point of this post is to put ourselves out there and get some feedback that we hope will help us make our decision. We know that in the scheme of things we only represent a small fraction of the capable and skilled players and commanders out there, but we know that we can and will be a strong force in the never-ending battle that is WvW. Our goal is just to find a server that is both welcoming and as dedicated to WvW as we are.

As of right now, guild members have expressed interest in:
Maguuma
Northern Shiverpeaks
Darkhaven

That isn’t to say we have ruled out other servers, but for various reasons, we have our eyes on these servers. What we want from YOU is to know if we will be welcomed there, and any opinions about the climate of WvW on your server. Let the discussion commence.

P.S. Please feel free to support your own server as a WvW beast if you are looking to add more great players to your roster, but make sure to tell us why!

Well, I’d love to say Sea Farers Rest. Why? Because I greatly enjoy my time playing there amongst VoTF and FU, not to mention OSC. Our communication is top notch, to the point of having code phrase and such to deal with the spy we see coming on our open TS3 channel. We respond fast in large numbers, and shift players from map to map to support.

However, I can’t. Our prime time hours are busy, and while we are pushing our way up to Tier 1 (Currently in Tier 2), we have seen alot of guild jumps. And I can’t see them leaving all the time we are doing well. SFR isn’t a server you want to join if you want to become part of the foundations of a server WvW group.

As such, I’ll recommend Deso. With IRON guild leading the way, Deso are making their way back up to a top Notch server with frightening WvW ability. Want your name to go down in a server WvW history, join Deso and team up with IRON, and I’ll see you in our match up next week.

I’m super glad to hear REST name up there!

REST had their guild leader leave while I was away working, with our commander token, so on Friday night, about 1hour before the kickoff, I gave them the rest of the money to get a new token.

It was brilliant fun being able to fight alongside my own guild on Elona Reach’s BL, rather than my usual place amongst the FU teams.

My username is my login of course, if you see any people cheating, I’m normally about and will happily slap them to hell and back for cheating. If they belong to REST I will speak with our GM about removing them from our guild.

If you catch any cheating during this week, feel free to contact myself and if I’m online, I’ll react as fast as possible to reprimand any cheating, and dissuade them from continuing such action. And I’m sure any SFR member will happily return any Capture Points to the rightful holder.

And yes that does mean you can add and Whisper me if needed.
