I’ve been playing GW2 for the last few years on and off. Mostly starting new characters every now and then and leveling them to lvl 40, doing some pvp and repeat the process a few months later. For some reason i could never get to level 80. Now i saw that i received a free level 80 boost for having purchased HoT, which is great because now i can finally try out the game at max lvl and try WvW and endgame content; very nice!
However, i used the boost on a mesmer and i’m completely lost as to what i’m supposed to do? They dropped me on this level 80 zone and i have no idea wheter i’m supposed to map clear this zone, all the zones? Play the personal story? This might be a bit of a noob question, but everything is so overwhelming, that a little help from some veteran would be very nice. And if some mesmers have some tips for a newbie at the class, that would be appriciated too.

Hi all,
So i’ve been playing a guardian since a few days. Finished the first zone without any problems, but right now i’m level 18 in kazzex hills or something and i’m running low on things to do to gain levels. I participate in every event, take every vista point and exploration point and do the heart of my level, but this doesn’t even get me close to the next level. Am i doing something wrong? Missing something? Or am i supposed to go to the starting zones of the other races to gain levels? The game doesn’t really give me any info on this, so i would appriciate it if some veterean player can give me some tips. Thanks.
