Guild Wars 2

So i just Bought the expansion, I wanted to know do i need to download anything or is the heart of thorns expansion already included into guild wars 2 updates but i just have access to it once i claimed the serial code?

I mean don’t get me wrong i want to buy it i really would, But seeing how i’ll be neglecting gw2 once Blade and soul starts the new phases of closed beta testing and once January 2016 comes around i’m pretty sure the game will launch open beta, So 50 dollars to some is just nothing it’s not that i’m poor, But seeing how i have spent over 100 dollars in Blade and soul with the founder Pack plus cash shop, I’ve already invested in it. But to pay 50 for the expansion only to leave it in 2 months it not that i am cheap but it’s more of a moral ethic’s thing. To be honest the things i wanted the Developers to add/change in Gw2 they did that with the with the new expansion.

Hello all, I have been away from Gw2 for a bit now playing other games well D3 but recently I’ve been testing out Blade and soul, Anyway i wanted to know is GW2 still worth playing even if you don’t Buy the new expansion? Or has the game gone down hill?
