I remember reading somewhere recently that there is an upcoming sale. I cannot find where i originally read it. Does anyone know when it said the sale will be starting? I know it said there will be different item on sale for each day and they will be bringing back some items that were limited time only.

They’re called achievements for a reason. I cannot believe how many people make posts about achievements not being easy enough for them. It is really getting out of hand. C’mon people. Please.

OKAY. I have been averaging about 50 coffers an hour just from simply running around on one of my lvl 80’s doing map completion. Since this event will last a month and it is only day THREE and it is more than possible to accumulate thousands of them, how can you people possibly think you would be getting tickets as frequently as you seem to think you are entitled to get them? If the drop rate was the way you wanted it to be then every player would have multiple tickets by the time this event is over. Therefore, the skins would not be rare OR special AT ALL. They were even nice enough to let us buy the wings once we’ve earned enough candy. WHY would you be buying ANY coffers on the TP to begin with? You get them from like 30% of your kills. It is so incredibly easy. I think it is actually extremely fun the go out and work on map completion and events for an hour (ya know, actually playing and enjoying the game) and then i get these extra coffers to open and have the chance of getting a ticket for a super cool skin. I haven’t gotten any tickets yet and i am extremely excited to keep playing and earning more coffers to hopefully get one. You should all relax and just play the game and enjoy the event and keep earning as many coffers as you can. My point is that this is fun if you can drop your sense of entitlement and stop acting like 5 year olds.

Thank you A-NET. Please don’t listen to these complaints. This event is awesome. The coffers are awesome. And the rare drop rate for the tickets is awesome. I love the suspense!

I originally had a mesmer and i got to lvl 40 and felt pretty much the same way you feel right now. Then I tested out other professions and eventually made a guardian and enjoyed the style of game play so much that i zoomed all the way to 80. Maybe trying out another profession would help you too. ALSO, the ranger is commonly felt to be the most “boring” profession, so maybe something else would be more engaging to you. Hopefully you can find one that makes the game more fun….then once you get to a higher level there are dungeons, fractals, and huge events in orr that you can participate in that will be more like the type of gameplay you are hoping for. At level 48 it is tough to get a real feel for the game so I suggest finding an engaging profession, grinding to 80, and then experiencing everything that is out there.

Preview the legendaries on the trading post and then start working towards one.
Dungeons.
Orr.
Fractals.
The new guild content with missions and such might also be what you’re looking for.

There really is no way to make much money from crafting as of now.

If you are looking for a magic find set of gear (which can be really helpful for making money during map completion and farming in orr) you can use your laurels to buy an amulet with a utitity slot upgrade for 30 laurels and then also buy the magical infusion for an addition 20%MF for 20 more laurels. If you don’t want magic find there are other choices. I believe the ascended amulets are still VERY helpful even if you do not do fractals.

even when we log onto our other characters it bring them right into the same pvp map as well. we are stuck here and cannot play the game at all. please, please, please help us.

We finished a single round tournament in spirit watch and we are now all stuck in the map. No matter what we do we cannot leave. Exiting the program and reopening it still puts us all right back into the same map with each other. Someone help us please!

All characters are on one server, but they are supposed to start a “guesting” feature which will allow you to visit other servers. So until then its all or nothing unfortunately.

NO. They are going to make a “scavenger hunt” type of way to aquire them in the future.

I thought this extra content was a wonderful thing! I really enjoyed the big event! ANET, you are amazing and I appreciate you doing your best to give us something fun to do. Please ignore all of the selfish people who have nothing better to do than complain because they couldn’t make it or because they didn’t get a pre legendary. I did not get one and I was still super excited and happy with the event and the rewards. Keep up the good work
