I use action cam all the time and never had issues with Steal misfiring, even when using ICM for months before HoT I never had problems with how Steal worked. Definitely hurting now.

Please, I was just falling back in love with my thief after losing acrobatics.
My wife and I play together, and we had drastically different results yesterday. I encountered no real issues, but her experience was much worse than usual.
She normally has no latency problems (the busy Mordrem Invasion this last week worked fine), but now even in low population areas she is lagging. We were rubber-banding across each others’ screens, her skills were not firing, moving an item in/out of her inventory sometimes took up to 8 seconds to complete, events/enemies would be completed/killed on my screen but still up on hers, etc.
My ping showed 30-40 average as usual, but hers was insane:
Ping: ~35 (Avg: 2000+)
Maybe this is related to us playing through one router at the same time?
(If it makes a difference, I was hard-wired and she was Wi-Fi.)
Been with GW2 from the beta. I have also been the worst thief NA since beta! I’m an old guy with some health issues plus a low skill cap, so thief has been my bane from the start. I rolled a P/P-SB (full PTV set) and decided I would just go have fun pew pewing in WvW. (the teenager in me loves making that noise from unload) I found I could solo camps, keep up with most other players (or hide and run like heck), lock down players for my group, and basically felt like a Swiss Army Knife on the playing field. Not so great at everything but pretty handy at a lot of thing.
My knee jerk feelings to the changes to P/P and SB was one of eminence sadness but to be fair I have not had a good chance to play around with it yet. Sounds like sadness buff inc.
I do hope that one day the good folks at Anet will make the pistol/ pistol build a great option for those of us that get a bang out of life.
Agreed. P/P and SB may not have been on meta, but it was one of the most enjoyable sets to play in the game. Hopefully we’ll get some love soon.
So my fast-paced gameplay is gone and i have either go glass canon or SA ;\, sad imo that as they wanted to repair game they force ppl into less amount of builds

This is my first time filing a ticket so hopefully I did it correctly. My request number is 578124:Accidental Purchase/Gift. I submitted it in late April and was told that it was transferred to the “Game Support Team”, but haven’t received a resolution yet. Should I resubmit, or do ya’ll need more info?

Update:
Got my 60 fps back! I’m not sure if ArenaNet changed something server side, or if my final tweaks made all the difference, but the game is smooth as butter again.
My driver was up to date, but my “GeForce Experience” wasn’t.
Once I installed the new update for that, everything was fixed.
(A little weird considering I kept the same settings.)
Fix or Coincidence? Odd that issues started and ended with the Free Trial Weekend.

Same here, dropped from Ultra settings @ 60+ fps to Minimum setting @ 10 fps.
Been scrambling all day to benchmark and update computer, but nothing is wrong.
Every other game still runs perfectly, definitely something in the latest update.
