I’m not good at PvP and thus not good at WvW. I “enjoy” WvW to some degree. But when it comes to taking a keep, it isn’t my fault if we lose (finger hasn’t been point directly at me. I’m speaking “for” the server’s players). I’m tired of commanders chewing out his followers because we lost something. They talk as if they performed perfectly and the rest of us were the problem! They’d be nothing without us.

I like the idea of paying 100 gold for the commander rank. BUT, I think it should be a bit more like politics! I’m worthless at WvW, yet I can pay 100 gold and have people follow me meaninglessly. We should be able chose who we want to follow! I think we should take out the 100 gold payment and have a leadership board for people to elect commanders. People see the icon on the map and think your one of the best there is yet you could be the absolute worst and just paid 100 gold for respect!

I want everyone to earn the rank of commander and not simply buy it. Perhaps then the rest of us wont be blamed for losses anymore. Come on ArenaNet, you make us earn everything else. Why not the rank of commander.

As much as I hate WvW (only because I can’t kill anyone!), I don’t want the WvW Map Completion removed! I’ve found it much easier to gather the Badges of Honor through Map Completion than the stupid jumping puzzle and actual fighting. I think I can speak for a majority of the GW2 Gamers that if you took the Map Completion away it would take much longer to get the Gift of Battle than it would finding/buying the prerequisite weapons to the legendary weapon you’re working on!

The problem is, WvW is a never ending battle zone! Trying to do Map Completion when the servers are full and 500 people are looking out for anyone to kill is near impossible. I think since WvW is a separate zone from the mainland (like the dungeons), then there should be a choice of entry. Like Story and EXP Mode in the dungeons, there should be a “form” (rather than a separate zone) to where you can run around the map getting all the vistas, waypoints, skill points, and points of interest in WvW and cannot be involved in combat at all! Perhaps there could be a 2,500gem token or something you could purchase in the Guild Wars 2 Store that grants a character 1hour of run around time for the WvW or somthing. {Think that would make EVERYONE happy and ArenaNet or Guild wars 2 (whichever it would go to) money!!!}

Perhaps when you choose to enter WvW you have to choose between “map mode” and “battle mode”. I’m telling ya right now that I’m closer to finding The Lover (for my The Dreamer) and Dawn (for my Sunrise) than I am gathering 500 Badges of Honor! Those are the only two things I need to finish my legendary weapons. Just the prerequisite weapons and the Gift of Battle! I’ve maybe killed 200 people in WvW and have only found 29 Badges of Honor from the actual fighting. I’ve got 8 characters and running them through WvW is near impossible. But, map completion and maybe just maybe the jumping puzzle are the only way to have the 500 badges to throw into the creating of the legendary weapons. Whichever I’m able to make first will be the ONLY legendary weapon I’m going to bother making and its all because of the trouble it is to harvest the Badges of Honor!

I’ve got a high of 5g in my account and would rather use it all on Icy Loadstones then go run dungeons nonstop for days just to use all that new money to buy more Icy Loadstones than run around for weeks/months trying to make a Gift of Battle! Just because some can do it, doesn’t mean all can. That is why Map Completion is important to me. Like I said, I would hate to see the map completion removed from WvW. That’s why I’d rather there be separate modes for separate activities in the WvW.
