So I’ve been playing on my guardian for a bit now, and after doing some escort quests and walking at the npc’s slow pace I have seen that, well, you carry a great sword over your shoulder like a boss. It’s a pretty cool looking stance, and I was all excited that maybe there’d be other nifty little things that you can do like that. So logically I switched to my staff and started walking but you simply carry it by your side...
Anyways, I’ve been wondering how hard it’d be to add an animation to the game where if your staff is out and your walking you’d use it as a walking stick (*cough* Gandalf *cough*). It’s the attention to the small things that got me interested in GW2 and I’d love it if there were cool little things like that.
Ahh, well I guess that does make sense. I never realized that combat makes you significantly slower, but it’s probably true. Thanks!
I was just wondering, are there any bosses that use jumping puzzles during the boss battle fight? That’d be epic if you have to like climb up a dragon’s back and then take out something while it fly’s over Tyria and such.
I figured that I would ask to see if this exists in the game before i look into posting a suggestion about it.
(This is inspired based on the fights in Shadow of the Colossus)
So the rangers are fun, I’m not complaining about functionality or lack of content… What I’m wondering is that if a ranger can be so versatile so as to use the great sword to get up close and personal, chuck single handed axes from a distance and still be able to go the traditional bow-route, then how come we don’t get the ability to use rifles? I mean… in all seriousness, what’s holding a ranger back from this technological advancement in the world of Tyria?
This mainly stems from the problem of having really cool looking gun skins, and yet not being able to use them on my main character. It’s an annoying dilemma.
