Right now no one seems to ever want to do any dungeon other than cof path 1. maybe let us trade badge of honor for them or maybe laurels. as finding groups for the other dungeons is non existant.
Here is a suggestion to help those of us that play a norn to actually use their transformations. Cause currently they do really suck compared to every other race’s elites. they are a complete waste of skillpoints at the moment. maybe make em toggleable instead of set durations so you can turn it off and on. and maybe add some alternate versions of utility skills that can be used while in that form.
ok so you guys plan on doin away with mf on gear so here is the question.
What will happen to thos of us that spent laurels on the MF ascended gear? and those of us that actually have full sets of MF gear.
personally ive bought 2 pieces of the mf ascended gear with laurels and badges of honor. will we get refunded those spent? cause had i known bout this before i wouldnt have bought em.
ok thanks Moderator i will not post the names of people in a post in the future. and thank you for the clarification. it is appreciated.
thank you Bluestone. i was just worried cause i had seen some of those posts in the forum about peopel getting lcoked out of their account cause they had been accused fo botting when they werent botting.
sorry i dont know where this should be posted.
ive been sitin here watching these 2 botters(Yangzi and Wkkwy) for bout half an hour. they are talking but same phrase every time. they saying “?” and “you hit it too” yet their pathing is the same every time with sharp turns and no deviation. i said guys im gonna report you for botting if you dont say something different and they replied with the same 2 phrases so i reported em. so after that i go back to my grinding and here the 2 guys show up and both of them accuse me of botting where obviously i am not. im curious as to what i should do. oh btw im on kaineg and this happened near the iceflow wayypoint in frostgorge sound.
while i do know you guys are busy trying to fix stuff here is why people will never use spirits even with this new update:
- Low proc chance.
- Low Proc Chance for 20 trait points…50% for 20 trait points… waste in my opinion.
- Low HP.
- Low HP for 10 trait points (double hp) they get 1 shot by most stuff even with the trait.
- Small effect Radius. to make it useful with the trait you have to give up one of the others.
- Immobile. doesn’t move unless you have 30 points wasted on the grand master trait.
there are only 2 things that would make spirits usable and actually worth spending trait points on them.
- Increase untraited proc chance to 50%. and traited proc chance to 100%. 20 trait points is worth a lot more than a 100% proc rate in most builds.
- make their hp scaleable with character level. they die too fast.
also this might make up for the fact that the ranger weapons suck.
anyways thats my 2 cents.
so disappointed that ya guys didnt mke unique skins for these pieces yet you made the weapons have unique skins…Why call them mad king items if they dont even look the part? the suggestion is unique skins for named armor. like i mean how can it be rurik’s armor if it doesnt even look like his armor?

Here is an Example of what i think the primary focus traits could be.
Elementalist:
- Arcane Power
Warrior:
- Discipline
Ranger:
- Beastmastery
Necromancer:
- Soul Reaping
Guardian:
- Virtues
Thief:
- Trickery
Engineer:
- Tools
Mesmer:
- Illusions
All of these would only be accessable to your primary profession. Just Like GW1.

Several of my friends and I were doing some brainstorming about how they could allow us to dual class like we used to be able to in Guild Wars 1. here is the idea:
Equipment:
- Access to all the weapons available of their primary and secondary class.
- Armor is Restricted to Primary class only.
Example: An Elementalist Primary with a Warrior Secondary cannot equip heavy armor.
Weapons/Weapon Skills:
- Each class would be able to equip their secondary weapons. thus gaining the ability to use their second class weapon skills.
Example: Elementalist who chooses Warrior as their second class would be able to wield a great sword. but however while using it they cannot attune and gain the adrenaline bar for that weapon type.
- Primary Class Weapon skills will override Weapon skills from a secondary class.
Example: A Mesmer who chooses Warrior as their secondary class would be forced to use their mesmer skills if they wield a sword or great sword. They would be able to use a hammer, gain the ability to use the warrior hammer skills, and the hammer’s adrenalin skills. However they would lose their ability to shatter their illusions while using it.
Class Traits:
- Same as Guild Wars 1. Make Each class have a Primary Focus.
Example: Elementalist Primary focus trait line could be Arcane Power. Thus only primary Elementalists could have access to that trait line. But a Warrior that takes his secondary class as elementalist would not be able to spend points into that trait tree.
- Stats gained from trait trees can only be applied 1 time.
Example: An Elementalist/Warrior Spending 30 points into their fire tree and 30 Points in Strength would not gain 600 power but instead will only gain 300 power.
- Set up the trait screen to have 2 pages. Primary and Secondary. This would allow ya to not need to change the main trait screen.
Skills:
- Add a second page to the skill tab for the second class. a character would have access to all the skills of the second profession. They must be unlocked as usual for skill points. And the skills would cost more than their primary class skills were to learn.
Well there it is. personally i feel this would be the most feasible way to execute a GW1 style multi-class system. It would give the much needed character build diversity that made GW1 such a massive hit. If any of the Devs end up liking this pm me and we will talk about it more. I can even Photoshop up some concepts for the skill/traits screens. Anyways keep up the good work GW Team and love to hear any input from anyone about this.
