Guild Wars 2

My main is a Guardian which I just leveled to 80 and bought a set of berserker rare gear.

I have tried to get people to teach me what to do in low level fractals and some explorable dungeons but I either get kicked when I say I’m new or I get killed many times and I know I’m going to have to leave because I just hinder the group and they dont want to spend time helping me grasp the game mechanics (I understand that they cant babysit me). I have been completing CoF p1 and p2 to start getting dungeon tokens for exotic gear but I just dont know when to dodge or when to move and stuff like that.

I feel like I’m too late to the game as everyone is on high level fractals, has better gear and knows how to play already, so I just cant start learning without any help, as I played to level 80 I barely had to dodge and I barely died in the open world, but in dungeons and fractals I am useless.

In the forums everyone says that to find people to play and not get kicked by PUG randomers you must find a guild. So that’s why I’m here, to find a guild that can help me start playing without being a noob that only hinders their party because I’m truly stuck.

PD: I would also like a guild that does guild missions as I will never get enough laurels for everything and I only have the amulet, and I would like ascended accesories.

I look like if i had a diferrent armor in silver instead of my red HoM armour from my girlfriends pc. Is this possibly a bug or an intended feature of the game?

I’m spanish aswell, so is my girlfriend! My two other friends aren’t but yes, they havent received anyting and I hope ArenaNet havent forgotten and its just that thay are taking longer than the 10th of December.

Does anyone know if the accounts have already been awarded? I got my girlfriend and 2 other friends to enter, but they received no email with an account. (They are on the youtube playlist).
The accounts were going to be given to 5000 people so if they made a decent vídeo and only 118 vídeos were uploaded they would probably win an account? I say this because they were going to tell the winners on december 10 and I think that they might have not won.

Hello, I’m new to this game, I bought it in October but I really enjoyed it since I logged on for the first time. I then saw the great MMO migration contest and decided it was a great chance for 2 of my friends and my girlfriend to get this game and play together. The three of them liked the look of the game and made an oath on youtube with the contest application. They dont know how to ask what happened so im asking for them because there were less than 200 entries but they havent received any email saying that they won the game or they didnt. I thought that because they were going to giveaway 5000 copies and only 100 or so applied it was a certain win as long as their vídeos were eligible.

Yes, I followed all his sugestions and somehow it got better. I then restarted my pc and it was unplayable again. I dont understand how that can happen without opening anything but skype ( I played without skype and it was the same). I always have vsync disabled. Its laggy always ingame since I open it. It worked again once but opening it later it started to not work again. I didnt change anything on the pc and I dont have people at home using the internet but it still is the same.

This is not normal. The unplayable lag is back and I did nothing, only restart my pc. I have no clue of whats happening.

I downloaded them and my GPU temp is at 57 out of the game and at 69 when in game. But I cant beleive it the game is working like before. Thank you guys a lot.

Sorry but I dont really know how to check the temperatures, do you mean CPU temperatures when in game? And do I need an external program for it or does windows vista have a temperature display somewhere?

I have a very similar problem, my game worked fine and a week or so later it stopped working, like I have so much lag that i cant play, i cant attack, gather items or speak to npc’s, and if i move it takes 5 or 6 seconds to move and then teleports as if it had been moving all the time.

I dont understand why the post becomes grey on the forum. Does it make people unable to see it?

I have it connected with a LAN cable (I think). There arent any people sometimes and it works just as slow as when my family is using the internet aswell. My internet speed on a internet test is

Like i would understand that my pc with a core 2 duo and nvidia GT 8600 cant run the game, but the strange thing is that before it worked fine (not high fps or graphics, but fine for me).

Hello, I bought this game about a month ago, i found it incredibly fun and it worked fine on a stable 20 fps on low (not lowest on everything but mostly low and some mid graphics). The game worked fine for me and i enjoyed it a lot.

Then, about a week and a half later, the game stopped working properly, the sound was like lightning, buzzing and very unclear. The fps were shown as 15-18 but they were much lower in reality. The skillbars were black and empty and if i tried to loot a monster or pick up a buch of carrots or iron ore, they wouldnt get gathered unless i tried pressing the interact key like 30 times and waited nearly a whole minute. The character moves with lag and monsters appear and dissapear out of nowwhere. I move in one direction but the character remains still and then appears teleported on another place.

I understand that my pc isn’t great, and im probably buying a new one soon but i would really want to play. I tried to fix the issue by updating my video drivers and repairing the client but it didnt help. I also searched the forums and asked my guildmates but i couldnt find any answers.

Does anyone know what could be the cause for this and how to fix it?
