the major problem with 5v5 now is that people ragequit very often, so all servers have high turnover, which causes more serious balance issues before autobalancing kicks in. or even 5vs4 is really bad. small team imbalances arent felt in 8v8. so after playing 5v5 for about two hours tonight, i think im done with it. going back to 8v8 for better rank leveling.
Yeah, this is a very serious problem.
Very often, I join a 5v5 match with 4 people on each team. The next round usually become 2v2, and have to wait until half of the match passed to become 5v5 again. It is extremely unenjoyable.
I think the reason Paid Tournament has long queue is because the population of skilled players are low. Therefore no one wants to play it.
Anet didn’t listen to our voice. Most of us are NOT looking for paid tournament. We need new game modes and more maps. I become less incentive to play PvP because of the repetitive process and maps.
First, I think Anet should consider to increase the population of PvPers by introducing more game modes, and fix all the bugs. I see no reason making paid tournament available before all the bugs/balancing issues are fixed.
So what's the reasoning behind nerfing us even further underwater?

The skill is obviously OP, FOR ELEMENTIALIST.
As a elementialist, you are not suppose to pop up your elite and sit there and do 3k damage per sec. You are designed to work twice as harder as other class to achieve same outcome. Thats how simple that is.
The skill is the only elite skill underwater. Not saying don’t nerf things, but at least give us another choice.
Permanent swiftness can be achieved by just staying in air attunement using staff without any traits.
1) Air-4
2) Arcane Blast + Static Field
3) Healing in air attunement gives you swiftness
I usually equip the trait One With Air which gives you 25% more moving speed while you stay in air attunement. You can see how fast ele can run.
