Gem shop is both a cash & ingame currency shop…so yeah.

Also maybe you knew you were not happy with your character inside 5 levels…many do not.

iirc this was purchaseable in GW1, so most likely would appear in the gem store at some point.

I made myself a large body, small head Asura (love asura, dislike the head size). Sadly, I decided that day that an Asuran Monkey like Engineer would be totally awesome.
So I made him hairy, small ears and black all the way. I didn’t realize that I also like dark tinted armors, so if I put on my black dye’s I’m like a Asuran Shadowmonkey Engineer.. So now im stuck with the bright colours.. which make me look like a Monkey-in-a-pink-dress-Engineer..

I know.. I ROFLed too the first time.. but now I’m ashamed.. ;-)

K now I desire a screenshot of this monstrosity.
But yeah your story only confirms that we do indeed need this implemented.
For my Charr its only the build of my body I want changed but you really need more drastic changes

You only find out you want these changes AFTER you played for many hours so yes…ANet…gives us this feature ASAP!

It’s an obvious way to make extra money with gems, and would provide a necessary service most people wouldn’t mind paying for (assuming it’s not too expensive). I’d pay $5 right now to make my elementalist 2 ticks taller and my nose slightly smaller.

I did not know this…as I never played GW1 much…but this does give me some hope we will see this in GW2 but Id rather see it sooner then later

Id say keep this thread bumped and spread your desire to see this happen.
In my eyes its a win/win situation for the players and ANet as its another thing to spend Gems on and it gives players the true look of their character they so desire.

To make clear for possible future flaming…I am not talking about race or gender changes although I do see a possiblity in Gem purchases there as well…this is purely being able to change your appearance of your chosen race & gender with the same options you have when you create your character….and perhaps more when purchased through the Gem Store!

Surprised not many, so far on these forums atleast, feel the same!

One of those basic MMO features…did not test it yet myself but if this is indeed not ingame would be really nice if it would be implemented!
