The Trading Post still crashes my Mac. There’s no consistency to when it happens. Sometimes with the same NPC, sometimes that NPC is fine. Sometimes it crashes in Divinity’s Reach, other times it doesn’t. Sometimes it happens if I try to escape out of waiting for the TP to load, but sometimes I can escape out OK. I can find no pattern. I also don’t get an error message.

But it does make me leery of using the TP at all because it’s such a crap shoot. When GW2 crashes, it freezes my entire computer and I have to power down & restart.

So, yeah, it’s still ongoing. Should we enter a ticket or not?

Ananda, they have a much, much bigger problem than the Mac beta. Their Windows client isn’t working either! It seems like no one can run the game at the moment — with the possible exception of people who never tried to use the Trading Post.

FYI it’s happening on the Mac Beta Client too, in case that gives the developers a clue where to look since it’s happening on both clients.

Ditto, Elegie. Same here. I can’t even start the game any more.

If TreeRhino’s having the same problem as I am then the client doesn’t show up as something you can force quit. It’s like it doesn’t exist except you get this annoying error which assures you that it DOES exist… and you can’t do anything about it except reboot. Nothing fixes it for me yet.

Same happened to me. Trading post just TRASHED my OS Mavericks Mac. Reboot & now the client won’t start without errors.
