Hi there,
the constant client crashes since last update are back in each huge event. I can not play e.g. a single temple event in Orr without crashing. It starts with damaged skins in the graphics and then it kicks you out with the (see above) known error messages:
MAC OS X 10.9.3.; iMAC 3.5 GHz,, iCore 7, 16 GB Ram, 4 GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M
Here is an example – pls fix:
Lets just hope they actually installed their april 15th patch on a mac and saw it launch properly. Just saying!
… I think it might mess up things even worse on the MAC after the 15th update :-( – but let’s see
Hello,
We’re going to need to spend some more time on getting a patching resolution. As this could carry into the weekday, the team would like to give you an optional workaround.
1. Rename your existing application file to something other than “Guild Wars 2”.
2. Download a new “Guild Wars 2.dmg” from here:
http://cloudfront.guildwars2.com/client/branches/Gw2Setup.dmg
(or) from the account manager on guildwars2.com.
3. Open the file and install the application. This installation should fix the certificates issue you’ve been experiencing.
4. When the installer completes and the Guild Wars 2 client begins patching, close the application.
5. Delete the new “Guild Wars 2” application that the installer placed in your Applications folder.
6. Relaunch the original application that you renamed in step 1.
7. The application will patch to the latest version.Thank you for your patience and see you in Tyria!
~Sarah… the patch did not work, but this fixed it finally for me. thx to all !
… to sad, my reply was to fast :-( after relog about 1,5 hours ago the issue is the same as it used to be except that I can see the stores menu on the top, but no content will be loaded – empty store picture.
So no fix for me.
My security options are ok – cross checked that idea above; so I am still waiting on a real fix for this issue again.

Hi Matt,
for myself still crashing. Tried on both of my Macs (MacBook Pro late’11 & iMac late’13). It gives you more time until it crashes, but it still does. It is mostly the ‘freeze & back to desktop or error code issue’ here.
Ticket => done
… same here – simply unplayable !
TgUpdate 1.11 everytime i open the launcher

Hi all,
just to let you know: I followed a lot on these MAC bugs with the “tg update”, “gem purchasing issue” and “mouse spinning” on this forum here. Downloading this patch above (2. If the version is older than 1.0.009524, download TG Update. You can get the TG Update here: http://cider.ncplatform.net/Live/GWII-Update-009524.tgz.), installing it manual fixed all my issues so far on these ones. Thanks to all for helping each other. Macusers still seem to care for each other a lot.
Here is my system configuration (german OS) on the iMAC [& it worked on my Macbook Pro, too]:
