An unsoloable (or very difficult to solo) personal story mission… really? That’s also close to impossible to complete thanks to random bugs, as well as hilarious boss mechanics where certain bosses just one shot you for no explainable reason. I sure hope you understand that a certain shield doesn’t actually shield you, just shoots you up into the air. By the way I hope you actually can glide in time because sometimes the glider just doesn’t open and you die. Awesome.

Not only this, but the fact that you can’t see which floor of the map they are on… holy moly that’s annoying. I leap to try and find a hero point, only to discover it’s on another floor of the same map. Like wat.

HoT's problem is cyclical.

Hero specs cost 400 points, obviously we want to play as this new spec so we try to get those 400 points. So here begins the rabbit hole, since most of the hero points are gated behind mastery points, which are gated behind zone specific exp, which are gated behind whether or not people are actually playing in said zones.

So this isn’t just “400 points is too much.” or “masteries are hard to get.” It’s that the progress of a player is totally backwards. It should work like this:

We get lots of hero points to start, which unlocks our hero spec, which then begins us on the path to unlocking the masteries, which then lets us do more with the maps, etc.

Like that. The problem is that the unlock scheme is totally backwards, and that feels bad man.
