I run 10/30/30/0/0 with S/P and P/P also my gear is mostly valkierys with berserkers and the chest piece p/t/v , I run 3 invis on my hot bar and absolutely love this build. The sword pistol is a great opener or spam on top of resurrectors , you can hit lots of targets in front of you for a chain of about 5 – 9 k depending on your targets toughness. Once your target knows your after them switch to P/P for a quick burst of 5 -9 k at ranged. My attack floats around 3200 after I get my power charges up and u make more might if you shadow refuge before a fight starts to jack up your attack higher.

I see IoJ saying we have alot of people however I just wanna add today me and 4 people took 2 towers Bay and Hills …. WITH ONLY 4 PEOPLE!!!! So please stop saying how many we have and just show up to fight your making me miss BP and NSP…well maybe just BP LOL.

I am curious what gave you that impression? I can’t think of a single time GOAT has done anything like that. As long as these events are out of the way I can’t imagine us ever breaking up a fight club. We certainly would never hunt them down and purposefully try to ruin others gaming experience when it is not interfering with ours.

All that aside those of us that joined in had fun, although all of us wished for more variety in classes to fight. We brought a Ranger, Necro, Engi and a Warrior. I think I saw about 12 Thieves a few Mesmers and one Guardian.

As far as AR comin in 2nd we almost had 1st two other times in the last month the ONLY thing that stoped it was a dedicated BP force that stayed up late on Thursday nights hats off to them for getting enough dedicated to drink that much coffee I could only hang till 3am to try and combat the night fighting =) WERE all about trying to get the #1 slot trust me!

About us :
Theres 2 co-leaders at VS we have been friends for over 7yrs. Our biggest success was running a top end raid guild on Eq2 that ranked in the top 3 for one of the best raiding servers of the game. Weve been on Gw2 since launch and have slowy been building a army in WvW. We have 50+ members and field anywhere from 1-3 groups in WvW at night. Our prime time to play is from 4pm-1am PST. We are a small but fierce guild when we take the battlefield we change the game. Our tactics are solid and we have the respect of many other guilds on our server who often will allow me to lead them if other commanders need a break or need some sleep. One of my favorite things to do is take over a enemy Keep on their home map and fort it up to the point we build a teleporter on their own map. The core of Valiant Sword are all addicts who rarely miss a night of action , I personally have over 1500 hrs of play time since launch, and over 13,000 confirmed kills in WvW. We also do our fair share of dungeons most of the guild is over frac lv 10 and some of us are over lv 20. Weve completed every dungeon in the game and tackle new content as soon as it comes out.

Valiant Sword is not for EVERYONE , we kick the cRayZiEs and dont put up with people disrespecting or harrassing other guildies. Ive ran highly successful guilds in MMOs for over 7yrs and have zero tolerance for drama. Make no mistake this is a club and its not for everyone but for those who do make the cut we are respected by our allies and feared by our enemies.

We need rewards for the things we do in WvW, currently few care if you upgrade a tower , if you take over 3 keeps a day , if you slaughter hundreds of enemy players , after awhile you ask why am I wasting all my gold here because the rewards are crap. Sure the game play can be fun (if your not fighting ghost vs. ghost zerg due to culling) but is game play alone enough for us to justify spending all our gold in WvW without very much in game reward, I think not as time goes on. Does beating your opponets in WvW , winning the match up even mean anything? I know our server has been stuck fighting the same servers for like a month now we always either placed 1st or 2nd and we still keep having to fight the same servers over and over again , with the point system being used for WvW theres no true progression , you can win and still be held down you can lose and still stay in the tier you lost in. Will I still keep playin WvW ? Yes! Will others with the same complaints , NO , they are gonna get burnt out. Give the masses a true reason to say I need to log into WvW tonight and youll see some intense bloody wars.

Make bonuses for holding positions such as if you hold 5 supply camps you get a % to magic / gold find for your team in WvW. If you take over 3 towers you get a bonus chest or if you defend 3 towers you get a chest with exotics. Make guild back packs carry 15 supply, have successful commanders get asura air drops of supply after 10 supply camps are taken.People who take the time to walk with yaks and make sure they dont get killed deserve a Rod of Herding to hasten the yak at some point for their yak walking! Give black lion keys for completeing 10 water events! For the love of god give the people who rush SM a golem after they win it and a temporary super army of npcs for 30 min to help hold it. Give us dailys for WvW that give siege rewards and a WvW monthly that gives us a Yak with a lazer on its head that u can RIDE! Give commanders some real tools to work with as rewards for successfully leading the masses in offensive and defensive campaigns like a Char air strike on a cooridinates map or a mobile siege tank like the one in some story modes or a battery of 6 ballistas droped in a 3×2 stack. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD BRING BACK THE ORBS OF POWER! Theres many rewards that COULD be given for taking and HOLDING objectives someone at ANET needs to provide deeper purpose for a long lasting WvW community.

Who doesnt have the desire to feel wanted , needed even , well Anvil Rock needs some WvW addicts. Every week for a month now we play against the same servers and every week the point spread has every team within 10k points of each other. If we had just 1 or 2 guilds transfer to our server YOU could be that straw to break the camels back and help lead our server to the next level. I heard it was just ALS.

VS showed up after AR took it from NSP. They were also present as we took Hills back from them. Other than that there were no sightings of VS.

Ya we didnt do much just set up a +15 supply buff on the nearest camp , cleared all the siege on the lower gate ahead of time while golems were bein marched ,added a run boost flag between the camp and hills , turned on all the lightning in the bay to stop waypoints , set up another balliasta at inner Hills to clear the cannons and oil and then created a choke point from the inner gate hole we made to make sure the door couldnt be repaired or reinforcements brought in to flank our ALS team =) … we didnt do much just complimented the larger force and helped with what a small 5 man team could for the night. Just wanted to set the record straight since yours spys intel is off.

Ah but what was that when you couldnt take our tower with walls down for 2 hours you turned on the BP tower , I know because we went over there and wiped you for BP and ran back… your welcome BP.What was that 2 hrs of non- stop rushing into our siege to die , I lost count after we killed wave 8 of all you. Borlis Pass cracks me up.. Trying a new build on one of my characters, and every fight is either 2v1, 3v1, or 10+v1. They laugh, or goad as if they’ve done something. That’s one thing I respect from NSP is that they always challenge people to 1v1s, and we always show each other respect. Borlis Pass never runs solo, and they never show respect.

Seriously guys, it is a game. Enjoy it without trying to ruin everyone elses fun.

i play in a 4-5 man guild on BP. Most nites we have 2-3 on and alot of time i go out solo. If you are solo expect to have 1vs2 1 vs 3 fights. AR and Shiver have never ever let me duel when it was 1 vs more than 1. So get of your high horse and either l2play or get friends. People play the same way no matter what server you come from.

Here is your context and why you are incorrect.

That was Commander Hammerhorn coming back after trying to double team us in EB even though all logic would suggest AR would have been trying to get back into first place, instead of hitting us. To which we were also trebbing BP’s SM.

We crossed words, he ignored and continued. So we broke off attack from SM, and BP + NSP both rushed him (since we didn’t have enough people) .

It was so lol dude after he was so rude.
I can laugh at another Commander when they do something as stupid as that. And it wasn’t a 1vs zerg. It was a Zerg vs Zerg. That pic was taken after we rolled AR zerg, took all your towers + keep and decided to spawn camp and let BP take what they liked.

Like I said above, BP and NSP worked together. It was Hammerhorns fault AR lost all of EB. And he also strengthened some cross server friendships and burned more bridges with me and NSP players.

I completely agree with this thread make the fights simple if you lose you go down a rank if you win u go up a rank . My server has fought the same people for a month now we always win 1st or 2nd place yet we keep having to face the same servers week after week. Also I might add one of the servers always loses every match up always places 3rd and yet we have to keep fighting them week after week because somebody has done some smart math that sucks kitten If you win you don’t go up if you lose you don’t go down so really wtf is the point? Just wanted to say THANK YOU to BP! THANK YOU we held your supply camp by bay for 3 hrs for the pure joy of taking all your badges . We never wiped once till you brought 30+ in there. BTW we were not a huge zerg and I did not have my tag up it was 7 guildies using tactics and a few pugs that started hangin out with us =) IM gonna buy more ballistas!!!! Muhahahahahaha !!!!! We had one guy gain 3 levels on his lv 50 firing our ballistas , he said ty too.

It’s been a long day , came over to SM this mornin and held off the forces. After escorting the yaks and getting the place Sieged up proceeded to take over every NSP tower on EB and one on the BP side was a 8 hr campaign and used over 60 pieces of siege enjoy your paper gates…. When will your garrisons fall … Only the shadow knows , Muhahahahahaha.

The LAST thing anyone should do after taking over a Keep is order a upgrade , you NEED that supply to build a counter defense if the enemy is coming back quickly! The first thing I have people do after taking a enemy Keep is throw down defensive siege 4 arrow carts per gate and at least one cata for range after that get the treb up. When youve done all that … THEN order the upgrades to the keep otherwise your newly aquired Keep is weak and very vunerable.

With culling in its current state if aoe had no limit youd see alot more QQ in the forums because people do not see the animation for any of these AOEs when its 30 vs 30 , if anything take away downed state because thats the major reason for a need of aoes hitting all players.

I just want to send a special thank you to the commander on the BP server , the necro who just kept comin at us in them supply camps. A friend and I started out testing a new build we counted 7 dead BP against the 2 of us , afterward we called in 3 more guildies and trained on our team work. Thank you for them badges and they were great fights until no one followed you into the camps anymore that made me sad so we moved on. Good job on the fears and dots while we were tryin to stake your downed players it made things interesting to say the least. I’m gonna miss these good fights when this reset crap happens. All jabs aside you guys put up a few good fights : )

About us :
Theres 2 co-leaders at VS we have been friends for over 7yrs. Our biggest success was running a top end raid guild on Eq2 that ranked in the top 3 for one of the best raiding servers of the game. Weve been on Gw2 since launch and have slowy been building a army in WvW. We have 50+ members and field anywhere from 1-3 groups in WvW at night. Our prime time to play is from 4pm-1am PST. We are a small but fierce guild when we take the battlefield we change the game. Our tactics are solid and we have the respect of many other guilds on our server who often will allow me to lead them if other commanders need a break or need some sleep. One of my favorite things to do is take over a enemy Keep on their home map and fort it up to the point we build a teleporter on their own map. The core of Valiant Sword are all addicts who rarely miss a night of action , I personally have over 1500 hrs of play time since launch, and over 13,000 confirmed kills in WvW. We also do our fair share of dungeons most of the guild is over frac lv 10 and some of us are over lv 20. Weve completed every dungeon in the game and tackle new content as soon as it comes out.

Valiant Sword is not for EVERYONE , we kick the cRayZiEs and dont put up with people disrespecting or harrassing other guildies. Ive ran highly successful guilds in MMOs for over 7yrs and have zero tolerance for drama. Make no mistake this is a club and its not for everyone but for those who do make the cut we are respected by our allies and feared by our enemies.
