Have you been interested in raiding but the idea of pursuing a hardcore raiding guild seems daunting or elitist? Black Lion Expeditions is probably for you! We are focusing on building up raiding teams with our guild members that want to beat raids but don’t know where to start and are intimidated by the process. We have had success in beating Vale Guardian with a unique set of builds that don’t fit inside the “meta,” instead our strategies imploy working with players in what they are comfortable playing with and finding a role that works for them. We also work together in obtaining the gear needed for folks that don’t want to replace their PvX gear solely for raids. We build a raiding family that takes care of and teaches each other and we want to offer our community to others that want to join a guild in the exciting time of learning, experimentation, and fun that comes with accomplishing raids!

I haven’t seen this asked yet: Is it possible to lock the camera on our target (and have our character strafe around the target)? e.g. Dark Souls targeting system/camera.

If not, are there any plans to add it?

Black Lion Expeditions is the premier social guild on the Tarnished Coast server. We promote a fun, mature atmosphere that allows a good group of people to come together to enjoy Guild Wars 2 in all of it’s many aspects. We are a diverse group that participates in: Fractals (1-50), Dungeons, Exploration, World vs. World, and light Role Play. Participation in all of these aspects is not required. If you are looking for a Role Play guild, we may not be the best choice as our members are casual players who dabble in RP on our forums (our forums are the perfect place to post your characters back story).

With the recent announcement of Guild Halls, we are determined to offer a Guild Hall that acts as a backdrop for all Black Lion activities and social events, including role play! We have all Guild Unlocks and have plans to allow our members to customize parts of the Guild Hall to their liking! We prioritize our guild members over events, if you miss out on a guild bounty event just let us know and we will do one just for your sake (and the sake of getting you some commendations!).

With the release of guild halls we are foregoing the PvP arena for the guild hall arena! We anticipate hosting unique events in the arena! Our past PvP server hosted game nights that featured gametypes like Zombies and Asuraball!

We are always recruiting and growing everyday! Our Leadership focuses on creating a fun and social atmosphere in which Lions help Lions.

We seek mature and friendly players to join us in our various RP events, guild missions, and general shenanigans! Perhaps you’ve seen some of our past role-play events: summer moots in Wayfarer Foothills, numerous hilarious magic shows throughout Tyria, and multiple public parties at Evon Gnashblade’s expense.

We are primarily a North American based guild but still accept anyone regardless of timezone. We have a good mix of players in regions all around the world: Australia, Europe, and Brazil.

With the announcement of Guild Halls, Black Lion Expeditions has planned to allow guild members to modify sections of the guild halls as they see fit. BLE will also cease their PvP arena in favor of the customizable guild hall arena!

With the recent announcement of Heart of Thorns, our Black Lions have been very vocal and enthusiastic to working towards Guild Halls! Just another service we will offer to our members for social events and roleplay!

Our guild has been slowly expanding! We still have all upgrades and continue to do fun events on the weekends! Message us if you are interested! We cater to players who enjoy smaller guilds where you can get to know one another and we don’t expand beyond 100 members.

We are now embracing Role Play! If it’s your desire to roleplay, we have set up a forum with strict roleplay guidelines! While Guild Chat is still “anything goes,” we push roleplay in /say and even moreso on the forums!

We offer a practically fully upgraded Guild Hall that acts as a backdrop for all Black Lion activities and social events, including role play! Our Lost Precipice guild hall is level 49 and has all the most important guild upgrades. We allow our members to claim deeds of certain areas of the hall for their own personal housing that they can decorate however they please; decorations can be requested to one of our high-level scribes and are communal efforts. We prioritize our guild members over events, if you miss out on a guild mission just let us know and we will do one just for your sake (and the sake of getting you some commendations!).

We have a fully upgraded arena! We host unique events in the arena like Asuraball, Defend the Torch, and Zombies. These casual PvP events are exciting, friendly, and very fun (funny, too!).
