I am not positive but the person that I seen had it in LA told me when I asked that they got it from the Exotic Trick or Treat Champion bag from the Legendary Monsters.

You mean people are actually killing the champs? I’ve been in the Labyrinth for the past 2 hours and seen all of maybe 6 other people total, all just running around doing small door events while fleeing in terror every time the Labyrinthine Horror comes around. I’m rather surprised honestly, day 1 and already deserted? Figured people would be down doing achieves at the very least. Especially if there’s exclusive loot from the legendary bags.

Horror and Grand Viscount are ‘worth’ killing. Lich not so much. Horror seems to not have as much health as others so he can be burned down pretty quick. Viscount doesn’t take too long either. Lich on the other hand is too much of a pain, due to all the skeletons and their retaliation.

Last year, the strategy for lich was to pull him into the room and stack on him. He was way less dangerous that way.

My zerg tried that last night and it seems to not work this time. The Lich gains health every time he hits with a melee attack, so when you are all bunched up in the small room his health goes down, then he attacks and hits everybody and is back up to full health. Seems the devs didn’t like that strategy last year.

Maybe we got lucky, but we killed him on my first go-round with our little zerg (<15 people) last night, and I didn’t notice much of a difference in strategy or fight duration. The stack strategy worked just fine, and I did notice he healed some, but the minions weren’t any more annoying than last year, nor was the damage they inflicted. Then again, it seems like we had a really cohesive, albeit small, group running around last night, so that might’ve had something to do with it. Anecdotal, surely, but just my two cents!!

I think you hit on the trick right there. Small groups can handle him as their DPS can outperform the healing he gets for the melee attacks. A large group or zerg has larger DPS of course, but the healing he gets is phenomenal and make the strategy much less effective.

That’s definitely a good point. To add on from earlier, I ran with a larger zerg a few hours ago, and yeah, we did get our butts kicked. Of course, we were fighting him, then a door event popped and someone opened the door, and then the horror sauntered on over to have a little chat, so we definitely wiped within seconds. Terrible timing, but I do think you’re onto something with the scaling.

Okay, Lyman up there has been an awesome addition to our guild. She is a great player, super helpful, and fun to chat with!!

That said, we are always looking for equally awesome people (big shoes to fill!! :P) – give me a shout here or a whisper in-game if you’re looking for a guild that plays primarily during West Coast, NA evenings.

I am the co-leader of a small but growing guild of active adult players on Stormbluff Isle called Cliff Divers of Tyria. We have a wide variety of ages and player experience levels in our guild. We do identify ourselves as an “adult” guild, and in that way, we may sound like we’re gated by an age restriction, but we are by no means closed to any player that is mature and friendly. With that being said, it sounds like you may fit in with us just fine. We pride ourselves on being the type of guild where, not to sound like a cheesy 80s TV show set in a bar but, “everybody knows your name.”

Hi Sakco! I’m not sure what timezone you play in, but I am the co-leader of a small but growing guild on Stormbluff Isle called Cliff Divers of Tyria. Our members are mostly 24+, with a couple of us (myself included) having a 3 in front of our ages

We are a fun-loving group that has folks with expertise in all aspects of the game, including Fractals, dungeons, and WvW. Our focus is primarily PvE, so we’re always jumping into the new content or exploring with alts and geared 80s alike.

The reason I mention timezone is that we are
Primarily active from 7:30-11pm PST, but we do have a couple folks that play more during the day. We are currently building Guild Bounties, and those should be done in the next couple days – we are all very excited to finally experience Guild Missions under our own guild tag vs. guesting to another guild to earn commendations, and we would most certainly welcome you into that excitement should you want to share in it with us!!

You sound like you’d be a great fit in CDoT – we’re a social, fun-loving group and our guild chat is almost always lively. We use Mumble for voice comm, and we don’t require you to talk, but it sure is helpful to listen in when we’re experiencing new content (new to you or all of us!!) so that everyone is on the same page. We are helpful and attentive, and we reward our loyal guildmates regularly, so you never feel like “just a number” or an influence mule. Most of us call each other by our “real life” names, and we know about jobs, kids, pets, Friday night plans, you name it. In other words, we’re more than guildies, I consider my guildies my buddies.

We have been having a great old time with the Bazaar of the Four Winds. The sky crystals were so fun!! In addition to that, some of us have been working on mastering all the jumping puzzles in the game, as well as finishing up those last few Points of Interest for world completion.

Who: CDoT

Where: Stormbluff Isle, but we love everyone

When: GMT -8 (Pacific Standard Time) USA, primarily in the evenings from 7:30-11pm

What: A small-ish, friendly and helpful guild of about 12 regular players (with another 15 alliance members – ask us about this!!), looking for more friendly, awesome people to play with. We are casual about representation, but we reward loyalty to our happy group.

Why: We love the game, why else? We love the social aspect of the game and everything is better with friends!! Also, we just unlocked guild missions so we are expanding our ranks to get those commendations!! Finally, we would love to have more members to complete end-game content as a unified group.

The small print: We are super casual friendly, all levels of player welcome. We are primarily 21+ (willing to modify this based on maturity – if you act like an adult, we can definitely respect that!!) Our guild chat can be adult in nature, and the occasional bad word or adult joke may appear, and we are okay with that. Maturity is important, but ranting and/or raving is most definitely allowed and sometimes encouraged. One thing that’s not tolerated at all: Hate-speech or discrimination at all, in the guild or out in the wide world of Tyria. Basically, just don’t be a jerk. If you cross the line, we will notify you only once.

We’re super helpful with all sorts of content, and we’re interested in growing our own in-game experience and influence. We have a guild bank, armorer, and missions, and we WANT YOU!!! Hi. I’m experiencing this too, and I thought it was a bug because I’ve watched video guides where the person was able to collect more than 250 at a time inside the SAB. If this is not the case, do you know how to obtain a “wallet” that’s mentioned in your post? It’s frustrating and cumbersome to only be able to have one stack of baubles inside SAB!!

Hello!

My boyfriend and I are looking for a guild to call home. We both have lvl 80 characters in full exotics and dungeon experience. He has more fractal experience, but I am getting there!

We are looking for an awesome, small/medium guild to call home. We would love to play with adults (25+, as we both fit that category) who don’t mind the occasional salty joke. We never joke about hate-topics (sexuality, race, religion, etc) but we sometimes have some off-color humor and don’t want to feel like we can’t express it if it comes out unexpectedly.

We play mostly on pacific standard timezone (GMT -8), after 8pm weeknights and mid-afternoon/after 8pm weekends, although I’m a stay at home mama so I pop in afternoons during the week to check stuff out. We’re definitely around! GW2 is what we like to do with our free time, so we are pretty avid players at most opportunities.

We’re looking for a like-minded awesome group to play with, and we are willing to switch servers for the right fit, since we both dabble in WvW so we’d want to switch to give loyalty to our guild in WvW. A small guild is okay, as we would be interested in either working toward guild missions or helping to spread the word about our guild to get the group to a place where we could do guild missions.
