Guys,
Im having a bit of first world problems! Mind helping me choose?
Guys,
Perhaps im a noob, i need to l2p; idk. Call me whatever it is, but as the title implies, will I feel and be more useful for my team if a reroll to revenant o ele?
Most classes have too much sustain the higher I get in ranked. +1 is becoming harder and decapping not always work if my team can’t sustain points.
Thanks in advance.

Guys,
I haven’t played fractals like in two years. Currently I am level 9. I just don’t know clearly how to acquire the skins. All I know is that there is a achievement to get one fractal weapon crate after finishing fractal 20. However I want to get a second one. How do I get it fast?
Yes, WvW is very imbalanced. Yet i suggest three things, your defense is truly bad for allowing such high damage, second; map awareness. You may have not checked ur envioroment well enough will decapping. Finally, might be a l2p issue but you gotta increase ur reflexes with skills. Block and interrupts works wonderfully with backstabs.
The more I climb up in rank, the more I agree with you. People at higher rank do know how to sustain.
if you are running Impacting Disruption there is less need to bound ’couse your damage will be high enough. the swiftness on dash and the condi clense are needed almost every game. bound makes you more vulnerable for example vs druids and thieves becouse of theyr immob procks, vs necros becouse of chill etc….
if you are really worried about a good thief or mesmer rupting your stealth combo all the time you can take bound but mehh….PS: you should take Impacting Disruption with any build with offhand pistol. It’s just broken…
I came to realize im too reliant on escapist absolution against condi players. Way too helpful. If im running this, is it redundant to use dash?
I can’t even make it to tier 2.. the matchmaking has been very extremist for me. Hardly had truly balanced matches
Hello,
I simply can’t decide which to master at this point. I love the decapping ability when using unhindered, yet i’ve realised it doesn’t help me that much when there is a bunker holding a point. Even when 1+ I just feel i am not being really helpful.
While using bounding dodger, I simply miss the speed but 1vs1 become far easier. It’s better to be the one that applies the pressure making my opponent into defense mode.
So, for high ranked, which is more viable to master? Or maybe it all depends on the team comp?
Thanks in advance
Hello,
Basically, i’ve made it to emerald yet im still being queued with amber(some are even new) in my team. Is it normal?
While im not reporting those loose streaks of 20+, still annoying.
I thought I was the only one. After the feb 23rd patch, my latency has increased by 100ms aprox.! I was used to play at 120ms now its basically 200-250ms.
Hey man, how are you achieving 42 critical chance with 1562 precision?!
Edit. missed the sigil of accuracy
What about rolling when hitting the floor and getting a small swift boon if the roll was precisely executed when touching the ground?
Danikat, you couldn’t have said it better. Basically a combination of both.
One can always dream. Especially if a lot of people become interested, this can happen eventually. Im sure the engine is already capable of it(correct me if not).
It would certainly improve gameplay especially on pvp/wvw!
As the title says, wouldn’t it be great if:
whenever we roll as soon as we hit the floor, the damage of would be avoided or perhaps reduced?
Just like parkour! It could create another element of immersion for combat.
What do you think?
Ps. Sorry if this is in the wrong forum.

That build is almost a full berserker build. If what you want to achieve is maximum damage, change divinity runes for scholar; yet I don’t recomend them as you need to be 90% above your health to actually make a differnece.
I’ll be honest with you. Almost every thief has started with a full berserker backstab build. Yes, its definitely fun to see those 10k+ backstab hits but in the end you will start wanting something more than…just full damage.
In my case I stopped caring for pure damage, but to actually survive in 1vX battles as your build will only be good at 1v1 mainly.
So my suggestion to you is, instead of investing so much in those divinity runes, get ruby orbs and still enjoy that big backstab hits. Later on, if you get tired of being kitten d in 1vX battles, change to a 0/30/30/10/0 if using D/D.
Finally I recomend using valk set instead of berserker set.
Hey guys, sorry for reviving this thread, but I would like to offer a much cheaper build (NO DIVINITIES runes) that according to the effective power, surpasses both Wish and Yishi’s build.
Please note that instead of using a fire sigil for a dagger, I opted on changing it by a ruby orb which seem to bring up the effective power.
Finally, while it may seem that this build is stronger, remember that it comes at cost of less survability, yet not a lot. Therefore, I believe this is the perfect starter set.

Rampage, I saw that post. It only beat it on that map. There are tons of threads about that situation and later on you will see that i5/i7 actually beats the 8350 on almost all maps.
You guys make it so hard
My dilema is the following:
• Going Intel and staying intel for atleast 4 years since I will have to replace the whole mobo AND cpu. The reason is to guarantee a good performance for GW2.
• Go AMD since it really can be said that it is more future proof as I only have to change to steamroller/excavator cpu as it seems that both will be compatible with am+. Not only that but certainly games will start using multithreading in the next year or so. (PS4)
BUT, by this route my only solution is to pray that GW2 optimization improves; especially for amd…
How would an oc 8350 compare to i5 3470 at stock clock? Which would be better for WuvWuv?
thanks mate. Im almost sold on getting it.
How is the temperature of your cpu when gaming?
Wow! Thanks for all the replies guys! Didn’t expect to have so many.
Thanks to all these post I am starting to lean towards the amd 8350 as I will in a future use some light autocad for architecture.
I got just some more question. Initially I really don’t plan on overclocking this cpu.
So basically, at stock levels, how will the 8350 run WvW?
Also when I get the evo 212, what is the maximum clock I can achieve?
By doing so, let say I get to 4.4-4.6 ghz, how much will WvW performance increase?
To be honest im happy in big zergs (30vs30) as long as my fps are 25+. Will the 8350 make it?
And finally, while arenanet may perhaps be delaying some more optimization, can I expect some noticeable increase of performance?
Thanks!
Hey guys, thanks for your answer. Im really interested of the performance of your 8350 jazhara. At what clocks are you running this game? Also is WvW totally playable for you?
Yes, this has been discussed but there are some points that I have not seen being clear out.
Does Guild wars 2 take advantage of Multi-threading? I mean im sure this game can still be more optimized but can it be optimized to the point that it is actually and advantage for multi threaded CPU’s?
If this would be the case, the 8350 could potentially beat the i5 performance?
Thanks!
hey lohanna! one last question.
How do you achieve 15k hp? is it through practiced tolerance?
Thanks. Well in conclusion i will just get both zerkers and knight sets and try them.
Just one thing, u are using both scholara and exquisite jewels right? I believe u use only 5 scholars runes and the last slot is for the jewel right? This is because the 10% on 90%+ hp damage is pretty useless?
How is this build with full berserket gear? too squishy perhaps?
Not a really noticeable difference honestly.
If you’re serious about tank builds, instead of swapping armour from berserker to knight, swap your accessories from berserker to knight.
As for damage, is there a big gap? How much is ur critical damage without zerkers?
I guess ill have to grind for both zerkers and knight sets.
