This contrasts most ironically with your sig. Since you like GW1 dungeons so much, maybe you could keep playing GW1?

I am a pretty experienced dungeoneer and pugger, but I deliberately look for groups that aren’t speedrun, and I frequently re-run story mode because I like to help people learn. I always list my own groups as “All welcome” for the same reason, and I fill up almost instantly. If you don’t like the listings other people are making, just make your own. If you put in the description that you are first time, or want to fully clear, or w/e, the people who join will generally be super patient and forgiving.

Ultimately, no one can answer your question but you. It seems you dislike constant new content, so GW2 is probably not the game for you. There are other MMOs that are very rarely updated and have had no new content in years that may be more to your liking.

They add new skins quite frequently. Though they certainly seem to favor weapons over armor, but still. We’ve had a few new armor sets as well. If you’re in it for the skins, that’s pretty much what GW2 is about.

They have been making significant changes to WvW, and are doing a pretty major overhaul soon—next patch, I believe.

I’m confused as to why you ask if there has been any “good balancing,” and then go on to complain about “all those nerfs and buffs they make.” You can’t have one without the other.

Whether it is GW2 or not, I wish you luck finding the right game for you.

Happened to me and a guildie tonight. Very frustrating, since we sat through 3 LONG AND BORING pre-events, then the chain leading up to hydra, and then killed the hydra too. Gold reward on the event, chest and bonus chest, but no achievement. Like I would really sit around for 3 hours to get a level 77 rare ring? Really? C’mon. This is extremely frustrating. And it’s even more frustrating to log onto forums and see others have experienced this crap for months without response.

I logged in to see if others were also having this issue. Seems I’m not alone. I’m glad Anet is on it. Since there is nothing more I can do, I will try to suppress my ego, and take comfort in the fact that nearly everyone else’s achievement points dropped as well. Maybe I can work on a bunch of OTHER achievements, and then when these get fixed, I’ll suddenly get 100+ points and ninja my way to the first spot in guild! Muahaha.

P.S. But seriously, fix it. My ego can take this for very long.
