How is Cash Money or No Friends an anyway testing anybody’s patients?

Cash Money is obviously going to be related to gold sellers and therefor just stupid to make ur character named that and No friends… some people dont like to hear that in an MMO… hell most people dont like to hear that anywhen.. to put it as ur characters name is just rude

I think you are being RIDICULOUS. CashMoney could be used for someone that really enjoys trading and plays the game to maximize gold rather then progress. No Friends could simply mean a player prefers to play alone. People really need to chill out and not worry so much about other people.

But your in an MMO and whilst i agree with you on the names not being worthy of a ban of any sort i can see where people are coming from. And you have to worry about other people in an MMO.. there are just some easy to offend people out there and Anet caters to them

I randomly got this a Messege 1 or 2 days ago and am baffled as to why I have recieved an instant permanent ban for something I really cant remember breaking.

I know these agreements cover every lil detail and your supposed to be miss little perfect who is surrounded by children and has to watch everything they say and so you cant exactly say you havent done anything wrong.

However what do they think is worth a permanent ban?!?!?!? The only thing i can remember is when i annoyed some people when i made a huge epic speech about why people should be allowed to trade in chat and not just rely on the Trading post.. I have also used profantity a few times but srsly if arena net is banning for swearing then pvp is gonna be dead.

I have been reading on forums and they say that the filter doesnt replace common curtasy and stuff but srsly if ur being that much of a bother there is an ignore feature. ArenaNet has included all the features to block out swearing and ignoring the idiots yet why they have included them if there just going to ban every1 anyway is beyond me.

I have ofc made a ticket the number being : “#120905-010811” for those who are interested.

However with the current wait time of being around 3-7 days i hear and the amount of hassle it is causing alot of the community I know i wont be Reporting any1 anytime soon. Another feature that has become useless. Ignore report and profanity feature must be taken out of this game as there features every1 is using and Ur ignoring.

Atleast hand out warnings prior to ur Instant permanent bans its not hard to send an email of 2 or 3 lines saying You have been warned or ur account has been comprimised please change details etc. Its not “Hand Holding” Its just Common Curtesy to tell some1 there exiled before you kick em out the door and since Common Curtesy is what ArenaNet is all about it only makes sense

They are not banning you for nothing you just admitted that you have 6 pages of logins from CHINA. I have not tried it so can’t say a failed login attempt shows in security but all I see are actual logins from me on my page. If you have actually had someone from China log in then you are compromised and you need to follow the hacked accounts post to get the account back.

You of course would also need to make sure you don’t have a key logger and change the password on your email account to be safe, as well as changing the email/password on the GW2 account (which you may have to do during the recovery process)

ACcount password has been changed and no virus etc on PC as just recieved it and have run multiple scans.. But this happened like 2 days ago… why is it only now i get banned.. account name and items gold etc didnt change so

if you go to “My Account” -> “Security” you can see the current logins, not sure where you can see the login history since this would probably give you a good idea about if anyone else has been in your account or not.

Nope they have not.. although I have 6 pages of People from china trying to get into my account.. 6 pages./… dont think any of em got in though…. Arenanet thought it was a good idea to release there! Ha! `¬_¬

There are options for profanity filter and an ignore feature which are simple and easy to use.. banning people for swearing is NOT ok…. if theres kids on here that arnt allowed to read that then there is the filter…

Awful system.. arenanet are slowly losing there communitys faith… and will soon find themselves with less and less players if this system keeps in effect

Im 100% sure that I have not and if by some chance i have then it surly cannot be worth a Perma ban with no warning!

My account got banned for reasons i do not know.. I didnt exploit anyuthing and the banned messege is less than helpful as the reason could be any number of things I havnt done…

I was just walking to ebonhawke through divinities reach when suddenly i got hit with the Ban hammer…

Throughtout the pass day all i have been doing is personal story jump puzzles and mining…

Can all i do is open a ticket and wait ??
