Guild Wars 2

Hi guys. I know that you read post like this like a million time, but I need your experience here.

To cut it short, the fact it’s that I started playing few days ago with a necromancer because it looked cool, but i’m not enjoying it at all. It seems so immobile and dull to me, it is just ‘’stay put and throw skills until the target dies’’.

Honestly I don’t have time to try every profession and level up to a decent level and see if I like it, so i’m asking you: what professions have the most ’’dynamic’’ combat?

I don’t mean difficult rotations or something like that, I would like to move around, dodge, evade and stuff like that…not a type of combat that resemble World of Warcraft to make you understand.
Any ideas?

Hi guys, I hope you can help me because I honestly don’t know where to start.
I wanted to start a new character since I didn’t play for a year or so, but the game gives me a strange error!
It is like ‘’The game client is unable to gain access to the log-in server at this time. ’’
The point is, I’m sure my connection is working with GW2 (because I can log in with my old characters) and i’m not connecting through a campus network or smth like that.
What should I do? Other games just work fine…

Hi guys, i’ll cut it short, I might start to play again soon and I have a question.
Since i bought the game (when it was buy to play) do I have to buy the expansion too or it’s free for us?

Hello guys.
First of all, I know that profession’s topics are a little boring as you can’t really know what’s the best for me, but i can’t really make a decision as I’m new to GW2
I’ve started a few days ago as a mesmer and i’m enjoying it though it’s a little repetitive.

A friend of mine plan to start a new character soon, so we decided to level together.
Now i have my question for you.

I don’t really know what profession to pick up.
I’ll like something with nice animations (like mesmer) paired up with both meele and ranged dps. Also i don’t wanna be too squishy or a character with a really high skill floor.
I would not consider necromancer (saw it on youtube, I don’t like him) warrior (i think that his animation are a little repetitive, but i could change my mind) and maybe Guardian (tried him a few levels and i found it boring) and thief (he has only a few weapons to choose from!)

So i’m struggling between elementalist (too squishy and difficult for a newbie?) engineer (same as ele?) and ranger, which i don’t really know well.
So, as you see, I need some hints.
If I would help I’ll appreciate.
