Okay, so with the awesome help of the support guys and gals, we managed to resolve this issue. I want to share the solution for anybody that has the same problem in the future:

there should be no special characters in any of the fields (including periods, dashes…etc)

As simple as it may sound, some of us come from contries where where writing your adresses with punctuations in them is the norm.

I hope this helps anybody else!

Good to hear! Unfortunatly they couldn’t help me much, they just told me to try again later or use a gem card, which I can’t because they are not being sold in my country.

Hello guys!

I’m wondering if anybody is having the “Unexpected error. Please try again later.” error on the gem store when you try to buy gems. I’m getting it when trying to purchase any amount of gems and using any method available (except the paysafe card thing, will try this one when I exhaust all other options). I did submit a ticket, but they haven’t been able to resolve my issue.

Don’t know about your username, but I can tell you that I did manage to change my e-mail a while back by submiting a ticket and requesting an e-mail change. Hope they can still do that and hope this helps!

I can vouch for these guys! Just joined a couple of days ago and it has been the most fun I’ve had in this game in a long time!

This has more responses than any other bug thread on page 1…. shouldn’t be too long for a response, I hope.

More info:

- tried connecting directly to my modem with a wired connection (as opposed to wireless router), and didn’t work.

- tried restarting my computer. Didn’t work, either.

I still note that before this all began in the first place, I received a message upon opening the client, prompting me to repair, which I did, and it crashed. It’s been like this ever since.

If no responses by tonight, I will attempt to completely FORMAT my computer, reinstall GW2, and then see if this occurs again.

Don’t bother, already tried that to no avail!

Stuck at Log-In

Same problem here, started yesterday 14.08 after the small patch by getting stuck at loading screens and disconnecting when teleporting to another map. It somehow got even worse today as I can’t even log into the launcher.

Any word on this problem would be very much appreciated!
