Vanquish is not a WvW guild, so no you don’t need to be on TC. Especially not if you don’t have any interest in doing WvW.
We have a few members that go into the Mist on daily basis and then we sometimes schedule WvW Events – Make The Toast Great Again! and when we do WvW GM’s also. That is what we mostly do in WvW, but it is not a requirement to be located on The Toast.

I am experiencing problems with certain maps also, atm I will be DC’ed when I am in Ember Bay/ DC’ed various Fracs instances/lobby.

Having chat-issues as well. That messages will not send, unless I send them twice.

I still have the same issue, patch did not do anything for me.

Will we have a solution/estimated time on a fix soon?
Since it would be nice to know, instead of returning to the heart and do it everyday and just get disappointed when you see you still cannot buy the Firestone or have any Suet to drop.

This was what I did to get the Cold Resistance buff again.

Replay the episode until Elixir Recipe.
Do the necessary to get the ingredients. I found out that you MUST complete the Elixir Recipe story. This allowed me to buy the Grawl Firestone from Sun Warming. I also bought more than 1 Grawl Firestone so I can keep making the Thaw Elixir while waiting for Anet to fix this bug!

I also noticed that for some reason, players who complete the whole episode (like myself) cannot access the Grawl Firestone vendor after that. So don’t complete it again! :P

Not an ideal solution but I hope this helps for now >.<

I would still need to farm a bunch of Suets before this work around would help for me. Since the Suets is not dropping and will they start to drop again when replaying. Seems like a lot of work/guessing for something that should work properly.

I am having the same problem I can’t achieve the Firestone and therefor not continue with achievements…

We have scheduled events for our GM’s and NA primetime events every week. Our EU events are being planned along the way with a few days notice to 14 days (because of IRL), peak time is around reset with the NA-crowd, but we have a strong presence from EU-time to late NA. Our quiet zone will be SEA time, since we do not have a lot of members in that time-zone. But there will usually always be around 2-5 ppl online during SEA time

But give Weskay.9275 (NA) or me (EU) a tell in-game and we can provide you with the information you would like to know around your timezone.

I have the same problem from time to time and I was in the capture circle when it was going up.
Last time was a few days ago for keep daily. And I have had the issues before.

It also seems to be that if the KQ dies at the point where you do this, the Guild Challenge will auto fail – due to the death of KQ.
Just an observation (happened twice for us, but we have not tried to do the Guild Challenge during KQ lately, so dunno if it still does or if it is fixed )

We use the WoR (for the spit balls from the bigger karkas) to protect the crab carrier and the support guards, to keep them/carrier alive.

I use Soldier armor/weapons with Sentinel’s Jewels. Got Dolyak runes on armor. – So I would call my char a tanky warrior with changed traits for this Guild Challenge.

As I typed in the first post. Support guards was part of the group, mainly with Retreat, Wall of Reflection and Hold The Line. Of course not everyone was running that, but the majority was.
Might be worth a shot to swap Hold The Line with Stand Your Ground and keep the stability permanent.

So having my party full guards to use Hallowed Ground and Stand Your Ground up all the time, would probably solve the problem? While my other guildies kills mobs.

Lately my guild have been doing Southsun Crab Toss as the Guild Challenge where we have failed because the crab was on the ground all of sudden with around only 1 min left.

I am the one that hold the crab normally and the last 2-3 times we have failed, because all of the sudden I just lose the crab. Then I can see it on the ground below my char and it fails ofc.
- I did not press the drop bundle button.
- I did not try to throw it at another person.
- I move all the time, back and forward, so I never stand still.
- Have a full party of support guards on me, with the rest of our guildies taking care of mobs/spawns/agro and ofc avoid the vets/champs karkas/green poison fields.

We do not seem to experience this problem when we have a lot of people doing this challenge, but when we only have a 20-25 people it seems to fail like that.

So are the mobs able to knock it our of your hands so it will be dropped on the ground?
Or what is it that makes my char lose it and I can see it on the ground?
- I/we have done it succesfully other times when we have had like 30-40 people.
